Communication Couldn't Have Been Worse
I did not receive a check-in code for the home 3 days prior to check in as VRBO stated so I contacted the manager.He said I would get the code after the cleaners left on our day of check in.Check in was 4 pm. At 5 pm I still didn't have the code, so I had to call the manager to get the code so there was poor communication right from the start. When we arrived at the property, we walked in to find dead bugs (roaches and a large spider) in the kitchen and live bugs in the bedrooms.The listing for the home stated that there was a washer and dryer on premises so we packed accordingly. The washer had a sign on it that said "out of order". Wish we had known in advance so we could have packed more clothes. Also, the dishwasher was full of smelly unwashed dishes so we had to run the dishwasher in order to have utensils to use.They had not restocked toilet paper after their last visitor, and we had to contact the manager to arrange this necessity during our vacation time.The lack of washing machine was a real problem,We visited the beach a couple of times and we had wet suits and towels.The manager offered laundry service which was unsuitable because we needed our towels,etc the next morning after returning late at night..We had to pack our dirty beach stuff back into our luggage which made for a huge mess and frustrating clean up when we got home. I've attempted to follow up with the manager multiple times after our stay and have been ignored.
