Excellent attention from staff. Brian spared us much time with his excellent knowledge of the area, and Susan in the restaurant was jolly and helpful to get a special order and chat with us. Staff like this make the visit memorable

5mins from the station. Room a bit tired but fine. Need to replace the shower gel more often as none in the wall pump.
This Hotel is in a central location for travelling. Hotel is more like a conference hotel.. Food and Breakfast fabulous. the outside I didn't like as people were smoking directly outside door and the bins were full of junk food bags. Train Station and Metro only short walk. The Bus Station is about 10 min walk, we got the bus to Angel of the North cost 2pound there and back. Can anyone explain why there are no tea/coffee mobile vans there or souveniers. There is literally nothing. Just a thought.

Amazing waitress
Breakfast very poor short staffed no cutlery not a full selection BUT the
only positive was the waitress Martha i think was her name she kept apologising and waa trying her best a trie asset to ur company room in the need of upgrading - location excellent
The hotel room was looking tired and in need of some refurbishment, however staff were wonderful and the hotel location was ideal. Enjoyed our stay here and will be likely to return.
