Cozy Apartment in Newcastle

Rustic and cozy with wood floors, lots of rugs and unique artwork on the walls, this apartment is ideal for a foothills get-away. It is an 800sf 1 bedroom unit sitting off the back of our main home. Set on 5 acres of ponds and fruit trees this is a perfect peaceful retreat for a couple or two or a happy adventure if you bring the kids. Close to it all, we are just minutes to the Placer County foothill towns and wild spaces.

Our grandson is just nearby, so Naomi's home was perfect for daily visits as well as having the li'l guy with us. Spacious and well appointed, the suite fulfilled our expectations.

Very nice setting in the country. Lots of trees, plants, grass, and a lovely pond on the property. Kitchen was stocked with all the dishes, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots and pans that we needed. Bed was comfortable. The apartment is older, but it was clean and roomy.

Rented this unit and the cottage on the same property for my family that was visiting for my wedding. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!! Clean, peaceful, quite, convenient. Would rent again in a heartbeat. Owner couldn’t have been nicer and was most helpful in every way!

Oasis in a crisis
We were evacuated from our home due to a wildfire. Spent 2 nights in a motel, then found this amazing rental. Nestled in a lush green landscape, it became our home base. We were so fortunate to find a place to relax, and regroup. The host family was generous, bringing us baskets of fruit. We will never forget their kindness. Thank you!

Naomi greeted us as well as her two dogs and her resident duck. Her whole family came out to great us and showed us the place. Very friendly once she knew who we were. Was unaware that they stay on property. They told us to be free to wander around and help ourselves to any fruit growing on property. The little pond was gunked up was only disappointment. Saw several Turkeys 1st morning there. Quiet and pleasant stay.

The Property pretty much has everything you could want. It is like a private park with trees, lawns, ponds & friendly pets & the owner / managers are friendly & easy to get along with and talk to and ask questions of.
