Good position, quiet, no outside noise, bed was comfortable, was suitable as we only needed a place to sleep. wasn't happy to pay for parking when not guaranteed to have a place. Wasn't told to after booking and paying, there was a parking fee but for the price we paid it was ok, just an add expense., Wall flushing was coming away from part of the wall. Only 1 light was working. tea & coffee provided but no milk. stayed for two nights, on the second are keycard would not work, staff replaced. Safety concerns as the fire door was open the whole time, allowing uncontrolled access to the building.

Annoying that shower water flow not able to be modified. Access to toilet and shower unsafe. Fire alarms can be triggered by opening shower doors and clearly a long-term problem that should have been fixed. Will not stay again

Great value for money. Convenient location. Clean and adequately equipped. Free parking and wifi. Friendly staff. On the negative side - things were missing from the room such as kettle and tv remote. Staff needed to be prompted for basic breakfast elements such as hot water.

Unfortunately the website to reply our estimated arrival didn't work, so we came well after check in time and no one was at the reception desk. We couldnt find a bell or anything so we waited patiently for maybe 10minutes when someone greeted us. The main reason for the score was the room was extremely humid and uncomfortable when we got there, so we flicked the air con full fan, low temp, and left for our event. We returned after hours, 8 or so hours later and the room was no cooler. We turned the AC as low as it could go and struggled to sleep. It took another 4hours until the room felt cool and comfortable and at this stage it was about 4am. We were going to pass on the feedback to concierge on check-out, however no one was there when we left. Wasnt expecting much for a budget stay, but expected efficient air conditioning.

Not worth the money

Tiny room. Bathroom was super small. Bed was ok, although the bunk bed above us had a ladder which was next to the bed and no moveable. Difficult to view tv. Bathroom sink was in the main room. No soap or hand towels provided just 3 bath towels. Paid way too much for too little.

Someone’s undies left in the hallway, one of our towels smelly like BO, noisy, flyscreen window was ripped, flat pillows, and someone set the fire alarm off at 4am. Building evacuated. Couldn’t wait to get out of the place the next morning. Never again.

The Mattrice had collapsed on one side with springs digging into the mattrice fabric. Pillows were terrible. Acoustic seperation from the traffic immediately outside was non-existent. Worst accommodation we have ever stayed in. You have been warned!

We ultimately did not stay. The key cards, to allow entry, would not work even after 3 resets at the front desk. even the key card of the receptionist would not open the door to our room. After he unlocked it with the master key, we found the bathroom floor was covered in water and the toilet seat was also covered in water. then the airconditioner had a continual knock in its operating. As no other rooms were available we went elsewhere and asked for a refund of our booking fee.

I cannot believe Ibis charged $248 per night for this standard of accommodation because it was over the Christmas period. This hotel is more like a backpackers hostel. However, I would like to provide positive feedback about the check-in staff member who was polite, efficient and welcoming.

We had 4 rooms booked. There were maintenance issues with the couple of rooms to begin with (eg, Fridge on room 224 had mould, basin sink had leaks, room 222 had issues with toilet flush etc) . Anyway, the biggest trauma for us was on the second night (ie, last night of stay there). As we returned after a long day out, we found some other people in our room 224. The overall experience that the staff had checked one of our rooms out (specially when all rooms were booked under 1 name and invoice) and rented to other people when we had our luggage, some clothes, foods in the freeze is hard to believe. Eventually we only were given our luggage back and another room to spend the night (thankful for that). Worst of all was the verbal abuse our family received from the people occupying the room as we had just stepped, only to come out quickly in shock. Staff, Erin, had advised that she will speak with the manager, Bianca, by noon on Friday and get back with some sort of compensation. Unfortunately,no call back since. Please advise how we can raise a formal complaint and find out our consumer rights here (if any). Erin, the staff, didn't even log an internal incident by the 10am next day checkout time period, which was concerning.
