Although i'm a local booked Valentines night to avoid late night taxi queues (i needn't have bothered Newcastle was very quiet). The hotel is close enough to the city centre but in a slightly quieter area. The staff were very friendly and our hotel room 419 was great, no bath but nice shower, clean and tidy. We tried the bar, still serving around midnight, again friendly staff. The breakfast was fine and nowhere near as busy as i expected. Would use the hotel again

Good value for money.

Decent enough hotel that gives you everything you need at an affordable price. Good value for money but it’s not the most glamorous. Rooms and communal areas a little dated but to be expected with high volumes they presumably have of guests. Front desk service was great. Breakfast was good for a buffet with hot and cold options all you can eat. Would stay again.

Really friendly staff! Didnt get the name of the guy but he was super friendly and he was working the breakfast (which was really nice) and was talking to me about plans for the day etc. The room was great, beds and pillows super comfortable, very clean too! Heating and shower fairly simple to use. Second stay in this hotel and ill definitely be coming back next time i need a hotel in Newcastle!!!!

Friendly helpful staff at check in made everything easy, room was warm a defite pkus in sub zero temperatures. Choice of soft or firm pillows a good option and overall a friendly welcoming stay.
