The room looked recently decorated but dirty stains on ceilings and walls - abuse from previous guests. The floors had not been cleaned as there were hairs, dust and fluff everywhere. Friendly staff.

The hotel itself is fine. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Good location, especially when arriving by car. Alas, I was charged twice for the room, and am still waiting for this error to be resolved. Whether this was due to a glitch with Hotels.com or the hotel is a good question.

Check in was slow as only 1 person on the desk. Breakfast was ok at best. Shower gel in the bathroom had run out. Hotel is a little out of the way and £10 parking is not cheap
