The locality was fine. I did not like being asked to leave the hotel because I made comments about the hotel service during breakfast, the state of the toilet, the bed which has seen better days and the home made sparkling water which was tap water. Transparency and honesty goes a long way in hotel and leisure

Second time we've stayed here this year. The Spa and Health club are free to hotel guests and its a really great breakfast in the morning. Having a small fridge with some free water and milk was a really nice touch. Great location to travel from in the area.

Pleasant enough hotel with comfy bed and shower over bath. Very apologetic about issue with housekeeping. Strange lighting remained on in ceiling all night so I was glad for my eye mask. Leisure facilities ok but you have to briefly go outside to access them.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bedford Lodge. The staff were welcoming and attentive, the facilities were well equipped and what you would expect at this price point. We made use of the sports club and the bar before heading to a nearby venue for a private event. The room was well equipped with Molton Brown and Tiptree goods and was very clean. We opted for a superior room for more space and the hope of a better room location. The only negative was being woken very early by the bass thud from a morning gym class. I did raise this at checkout and received a sincere apology and money back on the room fee. Overall very happy and we would consider returning if we are ever in the area again. Tip: Ask for a room away from the gym!
