With Balboa Park to the right and the beach and pier beyond, a very unique environment is created where you can enjoy the coastline, ocean, surf and sand, Balboa Pier, and views to Catalina Island – all at the same time. Close to the world famous surf spot, The Wedge, it is only 1 block to Balboa Fun Zone and ferry to Balboa Island.


The well-furnished front patio facing the ocean, with dual sliding glass doors and awnings for shade, makes indoor/outdoor living a breeze. This is a great place to people watch, or have a barbecue after your day’s adventures. Lounge in the fresh ocean breezes as you watch the ever-changing colors of the sunset – making it all feel even more magical.

A 6-seat dining table opens to a kitchen bar with 2-3 high top chairs so everyone can easily eat together inside. The kitchen has everything you need to satisfy your culinary desires. Just add the food and the camaraderie and enjoy this great room space where everyone can feast and relax.


The king master bedroom has a full ensuite bath, a flat screen TV, and a ceiling fan to keep you comfortable. When it is quiet you can hear the sounds of the sea.


The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms – one with King bed and one with a Queen bed – offer similar comfort with a ceiling fan and a flat screen TV. These two bedrooms share a hallway bath. And of course all bed and bathrooms are furnished with an ample supply of premiere linens to ensure your every comfort.


This home comfortably sleeps 8 in beds, as there is also a queen sofa bed in the living room. An air mattress is available for rent for a maximum of 10 guests in this home.


Additional amenities include a shared washer and dryer for your convenience, WIFI and cable, and 1 garage parking space. There is very, very limited additional parking here.

Great place
Perfect location, very nice and clean and would 100% stay here again. I only gave a 4 on cleanliness because when we pulled out the bed it was kind of gunky with popcorn and old socks under it. The rest of the place was immaculate. Comfy beds and pillows.

Loved staying here! The location is fantastic and our kids loved walking a few hundred feet to the donut shop, Balboa Pier, and the sandy beach! This unit is clean and nicely remodeled. The pier offers overnight paid parking if you have more than one vehicle like we did.

Great Family Vacation
Perfect for our extended family. The unit was exactly as described. We loved the outdoor dining and sitting area as well as the ability to easily walk everywhere. The kids loved playing soccer and other games on the lawn, and there were lots of beach chairs, toys and boogie boards to use at the beach. The on-site property manager was great and very helpful with issues we had with the door locks. We’d love to return.

Friends Reunion
All around great place. We live about 20 mins away, but had a group of friends (early 30s with a couple kids) coming in and wanted to stay on the beach. This unit had everything we needed- grill, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, beach toys/chairs/towels. We picked this place because we like the location in Balboa with the beach and fire pits steps away. Also there are a few low key bars, restaurants and near the ferry to Balboa Island. We basically did not have to drive after we checked in.

Great location. Noisy, poor managers and maintenance
What a great view and wonderful neighborhood. The place itself is very clean and well stocked. They did their “inventory” check at 4:30 pm in the middle of us hauling our belongings and 2 dogs into the condo. Highly inconvenient. The fireplace is nonfunctional and it was cold that week. The microwave didn’t work and the fridge chirped like a cricket. Very noisy. It took 2 calls and one in-person communication to management before they finally addressed our issues 36 hours before we checked out. So we had no microwave and constant chirping. They never did fix the fridge, it continues to make a chirping sound. The repairman sprayed noxious materials on the fridge (he came at 5 pm) just before dinner. Made all of us cough and gave us a headache. We had to leave and air out the place even though it was 45 degrees outside. There is no noise barrier between the up and down units(not mentioned it was 2 stories in ad). The upstairs people were not rowdy people. BUT we heard every step like it was thunder, every flush, and the shower sounded like a monsoon over the master bedroom. They were night owls so we heard them loudly til 1-2 am. Never again. This management company is very disorganized. I was told several times now “short staffed” they are. Then stop charging the exorbitant prices and pay your staff.

perfect place for my family
we were so amazed by the welcoming atmosphere of the place, so neat, orderly and clean. the place is just so perfect for 10 people + 2 guests. We requested for the air mattress with an additional fee of $60 but it was not holding air. it was flat in the morning. we end up not using it at all the next night. we're happy we are on the ground floor (Flat A) because my parents ages 78 and 75 have trouble climbing up the stairs. but overall, I would say it was a beautiful and quiet place. I will surely be coming back here. I highly recommend this place to all my friends. Thank you so much.

Great place for friends or family!
This was our second time renting this property. Love the location which is literally Boardwalk, grass, beach. The grass is perfect for games/fun. Waves/surf is a little tough as the beach drops off to the water so tough to surf, body surf, etc. Didn't mess with our fun though! Thanks for the fun memories. Oh, and just an FYI for the owner: the vacuum in the bedroom is a goner; didn't suck up anything. Broom works fine though! ;)
