We booked for 8 Adult for a week at the Manor House, Prior to booking the owner gave us some good tips of local Bakery, Fish and chips, pubs
On arrival at the Manor House we were greeted with a warm welcome by Jo (House manager)
The house was spotless, their was hand sanitizer, wipes , Anti bacterial cleanser every where.
The house is well equipped ,with a large fridge and counter freezer. Dining area is well equiped
The cottage is 15th century so a few low beams in the dining room area, After a few bumps You soon learn where the odd beams are. All other areas of the property,no issues .
When we arrived. Thought the pub that was next door would be noisy, absolutely not never heard any noise from the pub it was fully booked through our whole period.m
Staying through COVID is a little more challenging with eating, most venues fully booked. However the well equipped kitchen, this proved not to be an issues. With a Waitrose delivery and food delivery of Pizza, Indian, were no problem
Finally location perfect for strolls to secluded beaches , or over the headlands or relax I. The lov.ey gardens .
If you arrive early suggest pop in to the C bay cafe, just over the road for tea and cake
The Manor House is a lovely get away even in COVID where happy memories will be made
Definitely would go back

The Manor House is perfectly located for a big family who are active and want to explore the surrounding countryside.
The property is interesting and very comfortable. The only down side is the low ceiling in the dining area which resulted in several head injuries. We would also have appreciated either a larger TV or a second set - not that we spent a lot of time in front of the TV. However our visit did coincide with a big soccer match which not all wanted to watch.
We were disappointed that we could not recycle anything. Everything went in the bin. We would also have appreciated a few more toilet rolls since the nearest shop is not within walking distance.
We enjoyed the gardens, and made use of the large ball BBQ. It is alongside the Bowgie pub which is currently undergoing renovation but will be a good place for lunch once the work is complete. There is also a cafe bistro opposite which serves excellent food.
We would definitely look at re-booking next year.

We booked the Manor House for a family reunion and we had the best of times in this wonderful place. All the bedrooms are very comfortable and lots of bathrooms all with good showers. A huge dinning table seated all of us and in the well equipped kitchen we cooked lots of lovely meals. A comfy upstairs lounge with amazing view - a wonderful place to sit and relax. A beautiful garden too with comfortable garden furniture - we had a home from home. Thank you.
