We really enjoyed our stay. The customer service is amazing throughout. Breakfast was alright, loved the serving to the tables. Beans and sausage, not really for my taste, everything else was delicious. There was not a lot of options for a vegan, but you’d probably survive. Ask for veggie milk if you need it. Fruit tea was delicious. Room was little meh, there was a window open probably cause it smelled. The door lock was difficult to lock but maybe we just didn’t know how 😂 Maybe someone’s smoked there. Tbe cold tap was hard to close, we kept thinking we closed it but it started running again when we got to bed.

Great value

I used this as a stop-off, due to a long journey from further up in The Highlands. The room was fairly basic but clean and comfortable and equipped with everything I needed. Good value for money and I will definitely use this again, if it's a logical base for my journey.

Idéal pour un court séjour dans les Cairngorms

Bonne localisation, idéale pour visiter le parc national des Cairngorms. Restaurants, pharmacie, station service, supérette à proximité. Chambre et salle de bain spacieuses, mais mal insonorisées, et des fuites dans la salle de bain. Personnel très agréable et réactif.

Newtonmore stay

We stayed for one night and found the hotel easily on the main road. The room was large as was the bathroom, and the bed was comfortable. If I went again I would ask for an upstairs room due to floorboard creaking above us from 6am. Breakfast was plentiful and the service was very quick even though they had a coach party in also. We had evening meal of steak pie, fish and chips which was very good. Drinks from the bar were not overpriced and all staff were extremely pleasant.

A lovely Highland getaway!

I enjoyed a two night stay here recently and I was treated to excellent service. The hotel is a little tired but the staff were superb and the hotel location is perfect to explore the Cairngorms and, in my case, explore the local golf courses. I will definitely return! The hotel was superb value for money.

Warm clean bedroom and lovely staff,breakfast choice is basic and cheaper end mass produced bulk buy food such a shame with all the amazing locally produced food, this is an untapped opportunity didn’t motivate us to look at the dinner menu, old fashioned dining room and the hotel is showing its age now

For the price it was fine for one night. Wouldn't have liked to stay more than one night as the mattress was very uncomfortable. The hotel is in need of renovation, but I can't complain as we only paid 37 for the room. The service was good and with a smile.

Me my wife and our 2 fur baby's loved our 2 night stay the hotel was easy to find with plenty of space in the room with a large double bed clean and tidy rooms plenty of car park space of the main roadwe would use again as it cheap and wonderful

Nice wee hotel

Nice wee hotel. Clean room, comfy bed, extra covers if needed. Shower and toilet very clean and shower was good and water hot. Pillows not to my liking, some you win, some you lose.

The room was spacious, the bed was comfy and the shower was nice and warm! The staff were very helpful. The food is good value for money but quite plain, don't expect anything overly exciting! The deserts were fantastic though!
