The staff at the front desk were helpful and welcoming, but the staff on the rooftop were not particularly welcoming or helpful. It would be good to have separate zones for smokers and non smokers in the rooftop area where you can eat, particularly considering children.

We liked the beach club and the pool area. Although we thought the charge for sunbeds at the beach club as paying guests, unnecessary and expensive. Food, drink and service was good at both. The hotel and our room was clean, although there was a strange smell in the reception area during our 5 day stay! The reception staff were helpful. We didn't like that the water was not replaced on a daily basis. The fact that there were two of us but only one coffee cup! Coffee sachets and milk cartons not being replaced. Once we asked for these things we were given them, but why did we need to ask? Coffee sachets were replaced with coffee pods, we only had a kettle! Attention to detail. We also didn't like that one day we had no hand towels on another, no bath mat. No bath robes were provided, although there were hooks for them! Attention to detail was lacking!

Great room for the price

Beautiful private beach and the rooms were decently-sized and clean. It’s about a 45 min walk/15-20 minute drive from all the restaurants and things to do in the city besides the beach, but it was easy enough to get around by Uber.

Pro: The hotel is modern and renovated. We had pretty good room with a view. The pool and restaurant area on the roof top is nice. Cons: This is not a central hotel and it’s about 40min walk to the center or an 10min ride. The beach chairs are not free for the guests, actually nothing is really free you have to pay for pretty much everything to use accept the pool area. The sink and toilet should have been changed along with the renovation.

The room was extremely dirty, lacking basic amenities like extra glasses for water and wine, as well as essential toiletries. It was also extremely dusty, with a dirty floor and dirty amenities. The room had a strong, lingering smoke odor that they were trying to cover up. The bed was comfortable.
