This traditional Berry-style house, dating back to 1864 and completely renovated by us, offers the perfect setting for a convivial getaway with friends or family in an authentic and peaceful countryside location. In the heart of the Vallée Noire, so dear to George Sand, you'll enjoy wonderful moments exploring our heritage sites: the Vic frescoes, George Sand's house and the Sainte Anne chapel, the Angibault mill, Sarzay Castle, the Neuvy Saint Sépulchre Basilica, the Argenton-sur-Creuse archaeological site, the town of La Châtre, as well as the local festivals and exhibitions not to be missed throughout the year! In our cottage for 6 people, you will find:
On the ground floor (accessible to people with reduced mobility): a beautiful living room (41m² with exposed beams and stonework, and an original bread oven), a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed, a shower room (walk-in shower)/toilet, and a laundry room.

Upstairs: 2 bedrooms with double beds, a shower room, and a separate toilet.

No more worries about the heat upstairs!
You will find air conditioning on the upstairs landing; it is a reversible air conditioning/heating unit (Atlantic brand, installed in August 2025).

Electric heating (billed according to consumption).
