Convenient area on a pretty & calm beach. Resort itself was nice, & the staff were mostly decent. I just wish they would’ve been honest when telling us for early check-in that it would only be “a few more minutes” for an hour & a half. They had us stay in the lobby area while waiting, & if they’d just been honest we could’ve enjoyed the resort for a bit while we waited instead of sitting around watching other people get set up with their rooms. We had lots of noise issues in our room- from above us, the wedding outside our first night, & any activity in the hallway. Reserve your beach & pool chairs/umbrellas in advance on the website to ensure you have space for your time there- but don’t be surprised when the local ladies who offer braiding & massages shamelessly take over your beach space like they paid for it when you go for lunch or a walk (this was super annoying considering they moved our things to make space for themselves).
