Much needed get away!
This hotel was great other than the first time walking into the room. It smelt very musty and wet, but I think with most hotels if the AC is not on high, that’s going to happen other than that it was very clean very comfortable. Some things were outdated, but nothing that bothered us. They had a restaurant and a bar but the stuff was very confusing on how it was ran. They also have three pools that are very nice and a golf cart that takes you back-and-forth to the beach. It’s only a five minute walk to the downtown strip area where all the restaurants and nightlife are.

It was a beautiful place to stay. The pool was very nice as well as the swim up bar. The staff were very friendly and any questions that I had were answered efficiently. Everything was in walking distance.

Arrived at 4pm and were told although I made this reservation months ago the hotel was overbooked and they didn’t have a room for us. This is after waiting in line over 30 minutes. We were accommodated by being given a room at the holiday Inn for the next two days which we agreed to but meant halfway through our vacation we’d have to pack up and move back. We texted and called that day to ensure they would have a room available for us when we arrived - but when we got back to the hotel they didn’t have a room ready and I was reminded that check in was at 4 pm which didn’t sit well with me. We ended up wasting about half a day of a short vacation moving between hotels and waiting. We fought to get an upgraded room for our trouble but it certainly wasn’t offered without our complaints. To add insult to injury I was double charged for my stay about a week after we got home. Was promised that “accounting” would correct the problem and contact me but they haven’t so now I am going through my credit card to dispute. The hotel itself is very nice, great rooms, wonderful pool area but there appear to be some serious issues with how it is managed. I don’t think I ever saw the front desk not severely backed up with people and the staff certainly don’t appear to have the appropriate customer focus. Wouldn’t stay here again.
