Right in the middle of the wide Zeeuwse landscape, in between the extensive lands, you will find this luxurious farmlodge. In this former hostel and coach house, you can fully enjoy the freedom of nature, the peace and the spaciousness you are looking for. Besides, the estate Weelzicht is a perfect basis to start your cycling tour through nature or to the neighboring Zierikzee!

The authentic and stylish lodge has a spacious living room with an adjacent dining area and an open kitchen, which is modernly and fully equipped. The high ceiling connects the ground floor, with all basic facilities, with the first floor where you can find two extra bedrooms and another royal bathroom. Due to the excellent (sound)isolation, you can perfectly relax or dream away reading a book.

The adjacent garden is provided with comfortable garden furniture allowing you to fully unwind and enjoy the unspoilt nature of Zeeland. Even your pet will directly enjoy estate Weelzicht. Furthermore, you will find a private parking at the lodge. On the farmlodge there is also a charging point where you can charge your electric car. The charging pole has a load capacity of 11 Kb and the costs are € 0,34 per kWh.

A nice place
The accommodation is a very high spec and modern barn conversion, ample room for 2 people and two dogs. The whole conversation has been completed to a high specification with an excellent kitchen, dining and living area. We were a little surprised that bed linen is provided but no bathroom towels and as the listing did not mention this we were left scrambling around late of Saturday evening after we arrived trying to find some in the local shops. We had to buy tea towels for the kitchen too! There is a vacuum at the accommodation but again no cleaning sprays or clothes and for a two week stay that was needed to clean the kitchen and bathrooms. There is a little road noise when you sit in the garden and as we have dogs having the garden space confined would have helped too But the place is nice, relaxing both internal and external and as it’s situated on the outskirts of Zierikzee with easy access via car or bike to the town that has a number of supermarkets and a pretty town centre.

Es ist ein sehr ruhiges, grosszügiges, schön renoviertes Anwesen. Der Wohn –und Esszimmerbereich ist liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Im Eingangsbereich hat es sogar einen separaten Veloraum, der zur Wohnung gehört. Im Schlafzimmer hätten wir uns ein Doppelbett gewünscht und nicht zwei Einzelbetten

Sehr schöne Unterkunft
Leider wurde unser Aufenthalt in einer eigentlich sehr schönen Unterkunft durch mangelnde Sauberkeit bei der Ankunft getrübt. Somit stellte sich leider erst nach ein paar Tagen ein Wohlfühlen-Gefühl ein, nachdem wir das Putzen selbst in die Hand genommen haben. Wir hatten einen weiteren Aufenthalt geplant, uns aber letztendlich dagegen entschieden, weil Sauberkeit in der Ferienunterkunft für uns sehr wichtig ist.

Landgut Buitenplaats Weelzicht 1
Sehr schön umgebaute Scheune zu vier Wohneinheiten in ruhiger Umgebung, ca. 4 km vom Zentrum Zierikzee entfernt. Hochwertige Ausstattung, nette Terasse mit kleinem Garten davor. Im oberen Bereich (Galerie) befinden sich das zweite Bad sowie 2 Schlafzimmer.Beide sind sehr klein, das etwas größere hat ein manuell öffnendes Dachfenster. Das zweite Zimmer dürfte eigentlich nicht als Schlafzimmer deklariert werden, weil es viel zu klein ist und keinerlei Fenster oder Lüftungsmöglichkeiten (z.B. Klimanlage) hat. Das Bad oben ist ebenfalls ohne Fenster und ziemlich dunkel. Da noch eine Birne defekt war sowie der Toilettensitz im Gäste-WC ziemlich locker war und wir auch am ersten Tag Probleme mit dem Backofen hatten, weil ein Timer eingestellt war, riefen wir Montags die Vermittlungsagentur an, die uns freundlich weiterhalf und versprach, dass der Besitzer danach sehen würde. Der Besitzer wohnt ebenfalls auf dem Grundstück! Am nächsten Tag war die Birne erneuert, der WC-Sitz weiterhin defekt und am Abend bekamen wir eigenständig den Backofen auch ans Laufen. Der Vermieter stand denn abends auf der Terrasse, ohne sich vorzustellen, berichtete, dass die Birne gewechselt sei, am WC-Sitz könne er nichts derzeit machen. Auf unsere Frage nach dem Backofen erwiderte er, dass es für so was doch YouTube-Videos gebe...... Den Schlüssel für das Appartment entnahmen wir bei Ankunft aus einem codegesicherten Kasten, es gab auch nur einen, ein zweiter Schlüssel wäre sicher angebracht, gerade, w
