The cedar barrel sauna with a panoramic view offers a unique opportunity to enhance your cabin experience. Good to Know:

PARKING
There is ample parking space on the property. During the winter months a four wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended because of the limited ability to clear snow on the property and the steep topography of the lot. There is also parking available lower down on the property marked as guest parking.

FIREWOOD
Firewood can be purchased at the general store located by the Shell Gas Station in downtown Nordegg. During the summer months firewood can also be purchased at the local Nordegg campground located just a few minutes from the cabin.

GROCERIES
Nordegg is a small town and unfortunately there aren't any full size grocery stores available in town. Having said that, essential groceries can be purchased at the Shell Gas Station convenience store.

OTHER THING TO NOTE
The cabin is run from a water tank and septic system, please conserve water in order to put less strain on the system. We would be so thankful.

PLAY A ROUND OF GOLF
Nordegg offers a beautiful golf course nested in it's downtown core. Enjoy the 9 hole historical golf course while taking in the breathtaking mountain scenery around. Don't have your own equipment, not to worry, club rental is available on site.

VISIT THE MINERS CAFE
Enjoy a variety of homemade meals at the miners cafe located in downtown Nordegg on 619 Miners Crescent.

DISCOVER THE BRAZEAU COLLIERIES MINE NATIONAL HERITAGE SITE
Enjoy a journey back in time through a 1950's coal mine. Guided tours are offered during the summer months.

HELICOPTER TOUR
Visit Rockies Heli Canada located at Abraham Lake for a chance to tour the Rocky Mountains via a helicopter. The tours offer the opportunity to see glacier lakes, beautiful wildlife and rocky mountains.

Great stay, love the privacy of the home. Just wished the ice and snow was shoveled off the stairs before you showed up. My wife went out and shoveled both sets of stairs and tried to clear the ice off the rear deck. Other wise we loved our stay.

Perfect mountain cabin getaway!

I rented the BeaverLodge cabin as part of a surprise proposal weekend in the mountains. The weather complimented the coziness of the cabin perfectly and it was a wonderful few days! Our host, Michael was quick to respond to any questions and very accommodating! We would love to come back again soon.
Tucked away in the trees, very private, only one other cabin is close.

This cabin is stunning! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and has the most relaxing time enjoying the view, sauna and cozy wood burning stove. The kitchen is very well stocked and everything was very clean. The host was incredibly prompt to help when we needed it and very accommodating.
