The woman at the front desk was the worst customer service hotel person I have experienced in over 40yrs of hotel stays. She told my kids and I to check out at 7pm at night, because she could not fix our tv after an hour and said she had no other rooms (when 5 more rooms were showing as available on Expedia). She was rude from the moment I checked in, never even said hello, or even looked at us or welcomed us. Because I tried to change the channel on the TV manually since I did not want my kids to watch an inappropriate show (that she left the tv stuck on) while she was gone for a long time, she came back and told me she could not help me because I 'touched the tv!' Her response when entering our room for the 3rd time to fix the tv was, the kids and I should check out and find another hotel. This was after I had paid for the 'nonrefundable' room. My kids and I travel all over the country from tennis tournaments/ training and we travel the world often. We are in VA beach constantly. We are elite and diamond Marriot and Hilton members. Made this big mistake of booking a Wyndham hotel on a whim. Never again - and shame on Expedia for even promoting them to me. Expecting a mother to find a new hotel with her two young kids (who trained all day) at 7pm at night, makes this hotel employee (Amanda I think her name is), a cold-hearted person that has no place in the customer service industry. Expedia should not promote this hotel

The room was not clean upon arrival around 8pm. My only options were to leave and get refunded or it had to be cleaned, luckily there was an employee decorating that night that cleaned it all. I was not able to find something that night so I am grateful for her. Besides that everything was great after that was settled.
