Stay overall was good. The two twin beds were extremely squeeky and the other bed upstairs as well. Made it somewhat uncomfortable to sleep. The outdoor patio was really dusty and we did not use for that reason. Lot's of spider webs in that room. There were no chairs outside front as noted in pictures.

Our stay was great! The owner was very responsive and quickly addressed the few minor issues that came up. The place was nice and comfortable. From a guest perspective, it would be helpful if the bushes were trimmed back and if the house had a lit address—when we arrived, it was dark, the trash cans were out, and it was a bit difficult to identify the correct home. Otherwise, everything went smoothly and we enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful weekend!!

My wife and I planned an impromptu visit with our daughter who is a freshman at OU. The house was wonderful and very well located to campus, food and shopping. We will definitely stay again!

Freezing

I stayed here about 3 years ago and loved it. This time...not so much. We arrived about 4:00 and it was freezing. We reached out to the owner and he got a heating/air company to come look at it. We were not there but received a text that they needed to get a part so it would not be fixed till the next day. But they had ordered space heaters that would be delivered that evening. When we got back to the house is was probably less than 60 and no space heaters and no response from the owner. It was a very cold night and we had my elderly in laws with us. The space heaters did arrive the next day. Also the furniture is very worn. My father in law sat on the couch and needed help getting up out of the hole he was sitting in. There was a live wasp in our roller shade and a light filled with dead wasps. There was mold all around the tub/shower on the main bath. We were not given any discount for our cold night even though we asked. Sorry to say this is no longer on our Norman VRBO list.

Weekend Visit

The communication with the host was great prior to arrival. Smoke alarm was sounding upon arrival, no batteries available for replacement. Communication with host went well but would have preferred if they had reached out via phone or text in response. The property was clean with the exception of mice droppings under the kitchen sink, probably due to the time of year (winter). Plenty of provided amenities, we still love this location and will stay here again.

The cutest!!!

We really enjoyed our stay here and loved exploring all of the quirky, vintage finishes and rooms. It brought me back to my childhood. The beds were comfortable, coffee was provided, and the decor was perfect! What more could you ask for? How about a large bed swing on a screened-in back porch? So cute! The only problem we had all weekend was the tv connection wasn’t consistent. We tried to watch a movie as a family. It started and stopped 15 times minimum. We eventually gave up. But overall, this was minor. We loved that we could walk to 2 restaurants within 1 block. The best part was the close proximity to OU.

Grad Bash 2024

We absolutely loved this beautiful, historic Norman home that has everything one needs for comfort to include an easy walk to The Mont for a great dinner. The neighborhood is a step back in time with the various architectural styles represented on one street. Everything was clean and perfectly in order upon our arrival (and departure,lol). There was no lapse in communication with the property owner. We will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful home

We stayed at this home for a weekday wedding and were impressed at the size, location, decoration and amenities. The host is very informative and the process was all a 10/10. The house has it's creaks and quirks because of the age, but it has been beautifully redone and kept up. We'd love to return to stay again. Would recommend visiting The Mont very close by for a sandwich and drink on the patio- it was delicious and unique.

Perfect Location

Our family really enjoyed our time at the property. Fully functional home and the beds are super comfy. The furniture in the living area is a bit worn & less than comfortable so that could be a possible improvement. This is an old house with creaking floors but it adds to the charm. Would highly recommend it!

OU football coaching meeting.

Great spot for some of my staff and I to stay while in town meeting with the OU staff at the stadium. East walk or short drive to the stadium. East walk to eat and drink. Great communication and the space is perfect. We will be back.

Family visit with our graduating senior

We had a wonderful time with our graduating senior. We hosted 2 sets of aunts and uncles in the house with us for an early graduation celebration, and it was perfect! We had 3 bedrooms with 3 queen size beds, and all with tons of charm. The remodel of this house was done so well, with special attention given to retaining a lot of the house's old charm. We walked across the street to The Mont and enjoyed the easy access to campus and the businesses on campus corner. I highly recommend!
