Nostalgic. Like walking back into the 80’s, in a good way. I wished we had time to stay longer. Would do an extended stay there and have everything needed in a motel room.

Awesome

The room was awesome. Lots of room. The kitchenette is very nice. Very, very clean. They even came and checked on us during a storm. We're going back next month. They even have smoking rooms. Great place!

Older place but reasonably priced. VERY clean and comfortable! Super friendly staff. Close to campus and pretty much everything else in Norman. If you are coming thru for an OU game or two, this is a wonderful place to stay.

I stay here often when visiting OKC and overall every stay has been wonderful. It’s quiet, the bed is comfortable, the shower water hits just right. And most of all the lady Mel is such an amazing person. She is very bubbly and blunt.

No frills motel, immaculately clean rooms

I've been staying here when i come to visit with old friends for a few days. All I need is a clean quiet room to sleep in; Thunderbird Lodge provides just that. On the outside, it appears that it might be previously neglected property undergoing slow modest careful renovation. It's a solid two-star motel offering no breakfast nor functional swimming pool, but quiet, inexpensive, immaculately clean rooms, with extremely helpful and friendly front desk and housekeeping staff. Perfect for my purpose.

There was construction just infront of my room. They started working very early and it was impossible for me to focus on my works. This was my worst hotel experience. I do not recommend to anybody.

Great customer service!

Service was excellent. Only complaint we had was the size of bed and mattress, but again we have a California King at home. Will stay again but will upgrade to two beds or a king. Otherwise very satisfied.

Staff (Mel), was very personable and friendly. She called me to confirn my reservation letting me know what time I could check in till. And, she told me of all the places I may be interested in doing, as far as attractions and different types of restaurants we might want to eat at. I recommend this little piece of heaven for those of you who pinch your pennies and want to save on the hotel room. We had more money to play with @ Riverwind Casino!!!!!! They even have a little casino named, Thunderbird. Go figure!!!!!

Spotless room with everything you need for an overnight stay. Who cares if the property is old? It has been exceptionally maintained and everything in the rooms work flawlessly. It’s obvious that the owners take great pride in their establishment. There is no reason to overpay at a corporate chain hotel when you can just stay at TL!

The person who handles check in was very thorough and very helpful. She listened to what I needed and made suggestions for where I might find things here in Norman. She was probably the best check in person I have come across in my travels. The room is clean, quiet and comfortable – I couldn’t ask for anything more.
