Other than fresh towels/linens, the place was certainly NOT clean. When asked about the cleanliness via the app, I immediately responded with a score of 1. The floor was gritty and using the one swiffer we picked up a pile of hair and dirt. The baseboards were filthy. The couch needs a good cleaning. We chose this particular property for the hot tub and the gated yard. When we arrived, the hot tub looked like a tub of milk and smelled like dead fish. We ask in advance if the hot tub was working and we were told yes. It took three more days to get someone out to dump and service the hot tub.One day, we returned home and the fence gate was left wide open. Of course we let the dog out the back door when I did not see her I realized she had ran the open gate. Luckily she only got to the end of the property before I realized she was gone. Not cool. I reported this issue and never even got as much as a reply other than we will look into it. Another day, the fence was left ajar. Upon arrival - the back sliding door was open? Both garbage cans were full and not on the curb for pickup. No place inside the home to collect recycles. No dish drain - despite the absence of a dishwasher.The cushions on the furniture were moldy the chairs/table out back were rusty and the frame was completely broken on one of the chairs. For a dog friendly home, the back yard had a lot of debris (bottle caps, wrappers, etc) and poop from previous vacationers. Communication was TERRIBLE
