BEACH LOCATION
"A Wave From It All" is in North Myrtle Beach – in the charming beach neighborhood of Cherry Grove. We are tucked away from the crowds of Myrtle Beach which is an entirely different city about 30 minutes down the coast.
Beach life is definitely more peaceful and relaxing in this area-- perfect for that much-awaited getaway with your family or group! One of the best family-friendly beaches in South Carolina is a one-minute walk from the house. You will surely enjoy soaking up the sunshine, collecting seashells, or bodyboarding among waves that are gentle enough for kids.
Just inland, take a kayak tour through saltwater marshes where blue herons, pelicans, sea turtles, and bottlenose dolphins play. We love the backwater twilight tour at J&L Kayaking which includes sunset and moonlight paddling and we’re confident that you’re going to love them as much as we do!

Back on land, Cherry Grove is home to easygoing restaurants and fun bars – some of which are a few blocks from our house. You'll notice that fresh seafood and Carolina-inspired dishes are king. Fried local flounder, hush puppies, and shrimp and grits are on the menu at “The Shack” which is a local institution. Try a low country boil at Duffy Street Seafood Shack or dig into conch fritters and blue crab mac and cheese at Snooky's Oceanfront. Over at Tidewater Grill and Bistro, the fried green tomatoes and bacon pimento cheeseburger are a must.

Golfers have their pick of more than 80 courses in the greater Myrtle Beach area, including acclaimed greens like Caledonia Golf & Fish Club and Tidewater Golf Club which is just 10 minutes away. And for kids, you can't go wrong with the pirate- and island-themed mini golf courses nearby.

Our five bedrooms are peaceful retreats that have upgraded beds and mattresses, comfy linens, and all-new furnishings. Every room has windows with natural sunlight, a walk-in closet, and an ensuite bathroom. Every bedroom except the queen bedroom includes newly installed smart TV’s.

Third floor:
★ The master bedroom features a king-sized bed and full ensuite bathroom (tub and shower) providing ultimate privacy. This decadent room boasts a family of dark and light blue décor. The Master Bedroom also features a twin day bed with matching trundle for two extra guests. A large built-in closet, featuring a dedicated workspace complete this space.

Second floor:
★ The first bedroom features a comfortable king-sized bed and a full ensuite Jack & Jill bathroom. This elegant room boasts lovely Blue, white, and baby-blue decor, and its large windows let in plenty of natural light.
★ You’ll love the sleek, game design in the second bedroom. Designed to keep all the family happy; its pyramid bunk bed has a queen on the bottom with an XL twin on top, plus another twin XL trundle bed beneath. The Smart TV and XBOX gaming console offer a fun distraction if the weather doesn’t cooperate—a perfect escape for children and young adults. This bedroom shares the ensuite Jack & Jill with the first bedroom.
★ The third bedroom features a king-sized bed and full ensuite Jack & Jill bathroom. This bedroom features its own entrance via keyless side porch door. This elegant room boasts a calming aqua color scheme. A large over-sized closet completes this space.
★ The fourth bedroom features a queen-sized bed and full ensuite Jack & Jill bathroom. A dedicated work space under the sun bathed windows is the perfect place to journal your thoughts before a day at the beach.

Our rooms sleep up to 14-16 guests with the addition of a queen sofa bed in the living room and a Twin day bed (with trundle) in the Master Bedroom.

☆☆ BATHROOMS ☆☆

All five bedrooms have spacious en suite bathrooms – from a sprawling master bath to two Jack and Jill bathrooms on the lower floor which each serve two bedrooms.

The full bathrooms have been renovated to include features like new vanities and flooring, upgraded walk-in showers, and shower heads. The powder room off the kitchen has been enhanced while another powder room has been built for the entertainment room.

Each bathroom will come with plush towels, a decent number of toilet paper rolls, and a toiletry kit that includes shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and moisturizer.

☆☆LIVING, KITCHEN & DINING AREAS ☆☆

Our living room, kitchen, and dining areas are all on the top floor. You'll see painterly sunrises and sunsets every day. A wall of windows in the living room looks out to the ocean while sliding glass doors open to the upper porch. You can gather with your group in this airy room with natural sunlight, a triple vaulted ceiling, and all-new carefully selected furnishings. Enjoy your favorite movie and try some boiled peanuts which are our state's official snack, or team up to play a classic game like Exploding Kittens, Candy Land, or Uno.
Our bright kitchen has everything you'll need to make home-cooked meals, fun cocktails, and beach picnics. Our kitchen island with stools is a great spot for breakfast, just like at home. You can also start your day at our coffee bar: It has a French press, coffee maker, espresso and Keurig machines, and coffee provided by us. We have lots of counter and cabinet space. Just off the kitchen, our new dining table will seat at least 8 people. We made sure to give the dining area a cozy look so everyone will enjoy their favorite meals.
In addition to sliding glass doors in the living room, a door by the TV opens to the front porch while another door in the kitchen leads to the back third floor deck.

☆☆ OUTDOOR LIVING AREAS & OCEAN VIEW ☆☆

Our outdoor areas will let you embrace Carolina beach life like a local. Two giant porches wrap around the front and side of the house, offering a view of the sparkling ocean from the front. A piece of new furniture is in place so you can simply sit down and relax as the sea breeze stirs your senses, or feel connected to the world beyond as neon sunsets swirl over the ocean.
At the back of the house, our lower deck will be a place to get away from it all. And the upper deck is where you'll want to hang out among beautiful living and dining spaces inspired by our coastal setting.
A grassy yard below will have a BBQ grill for all your afternoon cookouts. Rally everyone in your crew for games on the lawn that will include corn hole, giant Connect Four and Jenga, and more. There's also an outdoor shower down here for rinsing off after sunny beach days.


☆☆ BEACH AMENITIES ☆☆

As an extension of our home, we want you to enjoy carefree days at the beach so we provide amenities such as beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, and a beach wagon to transport everything. Pack light and simply enjoy your stay!

☆☆ GAME ROOM ☆☆

This all-new room off the garage is where you can kick back in beachside style. Glass doors will open to our yard and BBQ grill, making this an easy indoor-outdoor gathering space. Watch the big game, get out those lawn games, or get competitive in a game of Air Hockey. This space also has an oversized powder room - perfect for those quick trips back and forth to the beach.

Other things to note

We welcome up to two (2) Small Dogs, 20lbs or less (pet cleaning fee applies).

While most home rentals in our area require a 7-night stay during peak season, we offer a 4-night stay.

Must be at least 25 years old. We apologize, in advance, for any inconvenience.

A pre-authorization deposit of $500 (note this is Hold, NOT a charge) will be due two days before your stay, and released seven days after departure. Please note that most banks force credit HOLD's to be re-authorized every 5 - 7 days. This may cause your security deposit to be re-authorized during your stay.

Golf carts are a fun and efficient way to get around Cherry Grove – especially on weekends during summer peak season. Golf cart rental companies here even provide a cart delivery and pick-up service.

Our large driveway can fit up to six cars. Perfect if you are coming as a large group.

Thank you for observing our quiet hours between 10:30 pm and 8:00 am. This ensures the peace of the neighborhood and our standing as courteous neighbors.

To keep "A Wave From It All" fresh and clean for all, smoking is not allowed inside or on the covered porches and decks. If smoke is detected, there will be a $500 fee for deep cleaning and odor removal. You can smoke on the top porch, in the uncovered areas.

Gatherings with your group are great, but parties and events are not permitted. Any evidence of such will result in a $1,000 fee plus any incremental cleaning costs required. Thank you for your understanding.
