This beachy 4 Bedroom/3 Bath house can comfortably accommodate 10 with 1 queen in the master bedroom, 1 queen in the 2nd bedroom, 1 queen in the 3rd bedroom, 2 twins in the 4th bedroom and 1 sleeper sofa.

Enjoy all the comforts of home while you are at the beach in this wonderfully decorated beach house that offers 2 spacious living rooms, 2 dining areas, 2 kitchens, 5 TV'S w/YouTube TV, Wifi and full size washer/dryer. The ground level resembles a mother-in-law suite with 1 bedroom w/private bathroom, full kitchen w/eat in dining area, living room and a screened in patio with table & chairs. The 2nd floor offers 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, dining area, living room with sleeper sofa & covered balcony with outdoor seating.

This private home is just .2 miles from the ocean. You can make the quick walk to the beach or rent a golf cart for convenience. Enjoy the outdoor tiki bar and BBQ area or outdoor swings. My family and I absolutely loved our stay. The house was clean and very comfortable to stay in. Beach and gift shops were within walking distance and any other attraction was within 20min drive time. Would definitely come to stay again and definitely recommend.

It was big enough for. Just a little disappointed the yard was not mowed. I couldn’t take our Granddaughter out in the backyard to play. The grass was a little high. Other than that everything was good. Thank you for letting us stay there.

Overall, this is a great place and we would return. It was really roomy and so nice to have enough room for me and my husband, 3 kids and 2 of their friends. The house is tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable; the listing says they are queen size, but they're actually all double (apart from the 2 twin beds).The yard, particularly the back yard, could use some upkeep. But we didn't spend much time back there. Everything was clean, which is really important to us. Thank you for a good week!

Nice beach house

Cute beach house with lots of room. But!! Upon arrival we found the upstairs living quarters had lots of black dog hairs all over the beds & had to wash sheets & blankets before using &sweep & vacuum the furniture & floors. But!! Access to the beach was wonderful.would stay again if they would make sure it was clean!! We fished, kayaked, played on the beach & had my Grands & Great Grands plus our small dogs ( we keep off beds & furniture) Turned out wonderful

Spacious and dog friendly

We had a great time staying at the Barefoot Turtle. Very clean, plenty of towels and lots of space for everyone. It’s an older beach home but is exactly like you see in the pictures. The kitchen has what you need but aside from salt and pepper, you have to plan on bringing spices etc. There is a huge grocery store within walking distance, but an Aldi’s less than 2 miles away which is more reasonably priced.

Nice property

This is a good property that could be excellent with a little attention to details. Minor repairs, landscaping, fencing needed attention. The important parts of the house seemed clean, but we were pulling toys from previous guests from under the couch and there was a thick layer of dust on the ceiling fans and furnace filters. However, we had fun and the location was great, beds were comfortable, and the downstairs was a great “man cave” for the teen boys with us. I also loved the porch. Overall, would recommend.

Unique beach house

Our family had a lovely week vacation stay in the Barefoot Turtle. We will definitely stay again at this house. It suited our family perfectly. The only thing is the outside lighting ground level didn’t work. The fenced yard was great for our pups.

I spoke with the actual owner for he house.

We were happy till we started to use the things they said were available. Everything was so old or nasty it couldn’t be used. From the pots and pans to the wagon and chairs they offer. I cooked breakfast one time because we had already bought the stuff. But I had to wash EVERYTHING we used (silverware and all). Pots and pan needed replacing. The nonstick was pealing off of everyone of them. Or they were so nasty I would hv to scrub them to use them. When we were getting ready to go to the beach u could tell everything that was there was left by the last ppl that had stayed. I mean years of stuff. Everything was so rusted or molded u couldn’t use it. The wagon was so dirty we would of had to spent at least an hour cleaning it enough to use it. U could tell the entire house had been surfaced clean but hadn’t had a good clean in a long time. Dust was caked on anything they didn’t think u would pay attention to. All that being said a storm hit while we were there. We spoke to the actual owner of the home. He asked me how things were going what I thought of the house and a few things specifically. I answered him honestly. Told him every problem I had. By the next day he had started ordering new things to fix the problems. It’s a beautiful home. Great location and the neighbors were wonderful with helping us through the storm. Everything I had a problem with is an easy fix. After speaking with the owner I have faith he’s going to start to make things better.

The Barefoot Turtle

Excellent location in Cherry Grove. The property was spacious and had every amenity one would need. But overall the property is in need of some TLC. The furniture could use a deep clean as could the entire unit. Updates for the cookware and silverware are really needed and the dishwasher needs some work. We had to rewash most of the plates, bowls, cups and silverware. Throw rugs were dirty as was the LVT floors. Screens for the doors were torn and let a lot of bugs in. It’s a really nice unit and could be so much more with a little love. These are easy fixes and we would definitely rent again if we return to Cherry Grove next year.

It was a great stay and a great location. The only issue was with the cleanliness of the property. Aside from toenail clippings on the bedroom dresser, my toddlers feet were black within 30 minutes of arriving to the house. I felt the need to wear shoes inside the rest of my stay

Great location close to beach nice layout. Needs some attention on outside loose deck boards, metal porch roof loose and on windy day moves a lot. Could use updated mattresses. Dishes put away dirty from previous rental. Management company slow in responding to problems.

Family fun!

We loved the house! Cleaning could have been a little better. Empty cups and cans outside some minor cleaning in kitchen. The response from property manager and owners was fantastic! Grill was not working when we checked but they had a brand new grill delivered the next day. The house is perfect for family vacations. The decor was so cute. Walk to the beach was barely 2 minutes. We would stay there again. Small note kitchen equipment such as pots and utensils need to be upgraded. Lots of random pieces. We bought a vegetable peeler and a few other things to donate to the cause. Thank you for having us!
