Four of us, including our 6 year old grandson, stayed here for the 2024 total eclipse. We had a great time -- quiet and peaceful with starry nights and open views across the pond toward Jay Peak. Taking the paddle boat out on a half-frozen pond, as we waited for the eclipse, was big fun with the 6-year-old. The cabin was clean, comfortable and very well supplied in terms of recreation gear, kitchen needs, towels, chairs for lounging, and more. Five minutes away is Hoagie's, a tiny store for essential supplies and a good take-out food menu. Highly recommended, we would stay again.

Escape from reality
Cabin was amazing, clean and stocked. Easy check in and the backyard view was amazing. Perfect place to escape busy mom life for one night and relax and reconnect.

Cabin by the lake!
We had a wonderful stay! We were 4 retirees and a teen. We arrived in the dark and rain but had no problem finding the cabin. Very clean. We drove to Canada. (45 minutes) and ate at the Junction (Troy) breakfast and dinner. Very friendly staff. Enjoyed the games at the cabin!

Bike Trip Staging Venue
I and my three adult friends stayed here overnight to be close to the start of a bike ride the next morning the length of Vermont (210 miles). Location worked out great for us as it's less than 5 miles from the border crossing to Canada in North Troy.
