Stayed there mid week to go to the theatre. Great place to stop overnight, convenient to the theatre and town. We ate at the Riverside restaurant on Campus and the food was good and the staff friendly.

Overnight business stop

Situated on the university campus so in effect another student block.Rooms are exactly that but more spacious. Very clean and all you need for an overnight stay. Functional as opposed to anything else. Bed not too comfortable but again clean and ok for a night. Parking on the other side of the next block so very short walk away but the campus felt secure. No hot food on-site for breakfast but available in a student facility a few yards away. Staff on reception were pleasant and helpful.

Basic university campus hotel

Booked this hotel whilst visiting the University of Northampton open day as it is located right on campus. It wasn't clear where to park and had to be directed by campus security. The hotel is quite modern but lacks atmosphere. We didn't see any other guests during our stay. The complimentary drink on arrival was nice. Breakfast is canteen style in the building opposite. For the price charged, I found the experience very basic.

Too basic

Although clean and helpful man on reception I marked it down for the following: I was told to park in car park 3 but on arrival, after a lot of messing about I was told to park in 4 the bed was so hard and I couldn’t get comfortable. Had to sleep on top of the duvet in the end so slept for a few hours I arrived back from my event at 9pm and there was absolutely no way on site to buy food Breakfast was disappointing. A pre prepared bag. Not much to eat really Obviously just not for me
