Property was a bit tired but well equipped and in an excellent position. Shame we couldn't see the boats kn the water due to high trees. Not on the property.
On first arrival, we thought the property was very well looked after and having read some of the previous reviews I was pleasantly surprised.
My husband and I took the upstairs ensuite bedroom which again appears clean and tidy if a little dated.
Our son daughter-in-law and two children took the downstairs area.
They noticed before they went to bed, a large patch of what we assumed was dog urine on the valance of the bed on the ground floor.
This shouldâve been noticed and changed by the cleaning company.
Also, I believe it is the owners responsibility to check that everything is perfect for people paying this amount of money to come and stay .
The garden was not at all what I expected. In fact, it is just a patio. Be warned if you are staying there and expect a garden as we did.
There were six people staying in the property and the property is the right size for this amount of people.
However, when everyone wanted to shower and bath, the next day, we found that the downstairs shower was completely furred up and unusable. Again, these need checking. This forced everyone to have a bath. Therefore, when I had my shower in the upstairs shower, there was no water for me to wash my hands, my teeth et cetera in the sink as it took about an hour to refill.
Owner you have heard that youâre cleaning company is not doing the best job. Itâs time to check when they have left that it is ready for people.
