This 16th-century Grade II listed farmhouse offers a haven for larger family groups seeking a unique and spacious retreat. Tucked amongst the tranquil countryside in the South Norfolk village of Banham, a special place to unwind in style and reconnect with nature in the most peaceful setting. Offering luxury accommodation beautifully blended with the original features of the property to maintain its charm and character. Boasting spacious living areas, a well-equipped kitchen, and multiple bedrooms, this farmhouse is tailor-made for larger families.

The thoughtful design allows for both communal activities and moments of privacy, creating a harmonious balance for a truly memorable stay. The boot room has a large bench to sit and remove your outdoor shoes and a generous storage area with plenty of room for coats, hats, walking boots or wellies. The kitchen is well equipped, with a Beko electric range cooker, and ample fridge freezer space. The kitchen flows seamlessly into the open-plan dining area complete with a rustic large oak dining table to celebrate any occasion in style.

Two formal lounges, both with comfy sofas, wood-burning stoves, and Smart TV’s. Perfect for enjoying great conversation and watching your favourite movies. A Snug TV room is a cosy and comfortable room where you can kick back and enjoy, having board games and a library of books, also a great space for the kids to enjoy their games and own preferred TV choices.

Upstairs you will find ‘Wren’, a spacious king bedroom with a double sofa bed and en-suite shower room. Along the landing a contemporary twin bedroom ‘Blackbird’, followed by a double bedroom ‘Kingfisher’ with double aspect garden views. Both bedrooms have access to the family bathroom with twin basins, full-size bath and LED backlit mirror. A further kingsized bedroom, ‘Woodpecker’ with an en-suite shower room, also accessed via a secondary traditional steep wooden spiral staircase.

Outside are the extensive wrap-around lawn gardens, a lush oasis that invites you to unwind, and relax enjoying the sunshine, or shade of the mature trees. No matter the season, the indoor heated swimming pool beckons, offering a haven for relaxation and recreation. Nestled beside the award-winning Banham Zoo, a 50-acre zoo, renowned for its excellence in animal care and conservation. There are many prescribed footpaths from the doorstep, so be sure to bring your walking boots to explore and admire the Norfolk countryside. In the adjoining paddocks, there are several iconic East Anglian Suffolk Punch heavy horses to be found, the oldest and rarest of the UK breeds.
