Not only are these properties close to the river, but the owner also owns other riverfront so if guests have a valid fishing licence and bring their own equipment, they can fish easily nearby.

The properties are situated in Wroxham which is well known as the âCapital of the Broadsâ and has a selection of cafes, restaurants and shops within a few minutesâ walk. The wider area is also criss-crossed by numerous footpaths and cycling trails. One of the best ways to enjoy the Broads is on the water by motor launch, or take one of the organised day trips arranged by the neighbouring boatyard. On the water, the beauty of the Broads can be truly experienced with its extensive wildlife (ducks, geese, swans, spoonbills and herons) and its sleepy Broads villages with their pretty flint cottages and attractive churches.
The coast is within easy reach (12 miles) with lovely sandy beaches and a string of villages spreading northwards to the bustling sea towns of Cromer and Sheringham. Alternatively, Norwich is less than 10 miles away with its cathedral, castle, museums, theatres, excellent shops and restaurants. National Trust properties well worth a visit are Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall, both within easy reach. Nearest shops are 500 yards. Moorings for motor launches are outside the property and life jackets are available free of charge. Pet life jackets available on arrival for a refundable ÂŁ10 deposit. These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 32 guests.

Lovely cottage. Only down side is the sofas are not comfortable, and the mattresses but everything else was absolutely spot on. Nice location. First time we've stopped there definitely be back if comfortable items could be sorted

A bright, spacious and airy property.
A bright, spacious and airy property. It's in an excellent location with views of the Broads. Fishing literally on your door step. The upside down layout makes the most of the views. The property was clean and the staff onsite were friendly and helpful. My only grumble would be the beds were rather uncomfortable but I still slept!Wroxham shops are less than 10 minutes walk away with everything you would need. Boat trips along the Broads is relaxing and fun. You are also 20-30 minutes away from the coast, so lots of beaches to explore. There's lots of places to visit it the area to for a great day out.Overall a great holiday for all ages. Highly recommended.

Heron is a very spacious, well-equipped holiday home.
Heron is a very spacious, well-equipped holiday home. The only drawback was one of our group found the mattress too soft. We were a party of seven adults and one baby (just toddling). There was plenty of room for the travel cot, and a high chair and stairgate were in situ. All the equipment worked, and it really was home from home, but with the bonus of a lovely view from the balcony. Everyone enjoyed the holiday.
