The properties are situated in Wroxham, which is well known as the âCapital of the Broadsâ and has a selection of cafes, restaurants and shops within a few minutesâ walk. The wider area is also criss-crossed by numerous footpaths and cycling trails. One of the best ways to enjoy the Broads is on the water by motor launch, or take one of the organised day trips arranged by the neighbouring boatyard. On the water, the beauty of the Broads can be truly experienced with its extensive wildlife (ducks, geese, swans, spoonbills and herons) and its sleepy Broads villages with their pretty flint cottages and attractive churches. The coast is within easy reach (12 miles) with lovely sandy beaches and a string of villages spreading northwards to the bustling sea towns of Cromer and Sheringham. Alternatively, Norwich is less than 10 miles away with its cathedral, castle and museums, theatres, excellent shops and restaurants.
National Trust properties well worth a visit are Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall, both within easy reach. Nearest shops are 500 yards. Moorings for motor launches are near the property and life jackets are available free of charge. Pet life jackets available on arrival for a refundable ÂŁ10 deposit.
Free WiFi
The boats supplied with the River View Houses, Berwick Swan, Crested Grebe and Greylag Goose will be moored at our dayboat site ready for collection by customers. We will require a refundable ÂŁ50 deposit, which will be returned to them when they bring the dayboat back to the dayboat site on the last day of their holidays. The dayboat will not be supplied during the Whitsun (end of May) and main Summer School Holidays but you can book one from us at these times at a 10% discount. At Christmas and New Year, the availability of the dayboat is subject to weather conditions. A mooring for the boat is provided near the property.
There is open water in the property grounds.
Please note: During the below dates, the property will not receive a day boat.
Everything was very straightforward: booking process, contact with owners etc. Nice welcome pack as we arrived.
A very well located property with 3 en suite bedrooms and a roomy lounge area. Facilities were very good e.g. kitchen area, crockery and cutlery, dishwasher, dining table etc.
Two minor negatives: a change of towels in the middle of a 7 day stay would be good, and perhaps some attempt to clean the bbq grill. We along with others bought disposable bbqs.
Overall, a very pleasant week! Many thanks!
The property is in a lovely location close to the high street but far enough for it to be quiet. Beds comfy. Kitchen fully equipped.
Only criticism is the sofa isnât very comfy and it rained all weekend so we were indoors a fair bit of the weekend so a comfortable sofa would have made it perfect. That being said. We will rebook and take advantage of the boat hire if the weather is better. Was a nice weekend away
Fantastic modern house right in the centre of Wroxham
We will definitely be back to stay in this house. Itâs really modern and well done. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped.
The location is fantastic. Right in the thick of things on the marina with views up the broads. It was great to watch the boats go by in the early evening from the balcony.
Wroxham in mid summer holidays is really busy and parking is a premium. This property has plenty of parking but is only 5 minutes walk from the town centre.
Check in was really easy and Covid friendly. Barnes Brinkcraft have other properties which look equally as nice.
