Guest Access:
You will have sole access to the entire home throughout your stay. The outside garden areas are shared with the property owners, who live in the house next door. The house next door isnât accessible, itâs just the cottage which you will have access to.
The Neighborhood:
This home is located in a beautiful countryside village with amazing scenic views.
Getting Around:
Walking - As the property is in the countryside, there are some scenic walks within a short distance including Stoke Lock and the River Trent. There is also the Ferry Boat Inn pub which is a short walk away.
Car - The A46 and A52 are just a short drive away and provide access to neighbouring towns and cities. Nottingham City Centre is also just a 20 minute drive away. Victoria Retail park and supermarkets like ALDI are also within a 10 minute drive. There are two allocated parking spaces.
Taxi - We recommend using My Cars Nottingham. Uber also operates in the area.
Other Things to Note:
* A fully refundable security deposit is required prior to check-in. This is held on your card in the same way hotels process a deposit at check-in. The hold is renewed every 5 days (as it cannot remain active for longer), and while some banks display this as a transaction and others as a pending hold, please note it will not be charged unless there is a breach of our terms and conditions.
Alternatively, guests may choose a non-refundable damage waiver instead of the security deposit. The waiver provides coverage of up to ÂŁ250 for accidental damage during your stay. Please note that it does not cover intentional damage, unauthorised activities (such as smoking or parties), excessive cleaning, pet-related damage, or loss/theft of property.
* All guests will be required to complete our reservation form which includes our booking terms and conditions and provision of a copy of ID prior to check-in.
* Please message us if you require a late check out. This can be organised at an extra cost.
ADDITIONAL CLEANING POLICY:
To ensure we maintain the property's high standards and maximise guest experience, we require mid-stay cleaning and linen changeovers for long-term bookings (14+ nights stay) at an additional cost. Please enquire if you would like additional discounts when booking long-term accommodation with Renzo.
PARKING:
The property benefits from FREE off-road parking which is directly outside the cottage.

Plenty spacious but cosy too, this property was a perfect location for our weekend break. Really felt 'in the country' but so close to all amenities. Loved the riverside walks with the dog.
Overall the house was clean and presentable. We found dirty towels in a wardrobe and only one small bath towel for each person. A drawer in the same wardrobe had a tube of shampoo/shower gell smeared on the interior. Broken mugs found in the kichen cupboard. A lack of a washing machine. Bathroom. I found thetoilet too low and the seat too far back making it impractical for easy use.
