Good modern hotel

Good modern hotel with all the amenities I needed. Paid for breakfast which is a little expensive but selection is good. Was nice to have access to an outdoor area with small lake and geese.

Great solo stay

I am a Nottm local and booked a three night solo stay to unwind and recharge after a stressful few months. My room size, decor and the facilities were great incl the fridge in the room as I needed this to keep some medication. Shower was amazing, along with the attention to details re small amenities in the room to make my stay more comfortable. My mattress was too firm for me but the manager/house keeping team provided a soft topper once I mentioned this and this made my sleep much better. From the delicious cookie at arrival, lovely breakfast, great bar/restaurant, friendly and helpful staff to the excellent gym I had a brilliant stay!! Would highly recommend staying here for any purpose.

Booked two rooms and air conditioners in both were set to only work for 1 to two minutes at a time. Rooms smelt, hot and stuffy, windows old annd only open a crack but heavy car traffic outside anyways and grounds poorly kept.

Great location for my trip, easy access to motorway , and bus stop into Nottingham centre just outside the hotel ( friendliest bus drivers I’ve ever met!) which run frequently. Easy parking. Friendly receptionist welcome, with a smile and Hilton cookie biscuit ☺️ The room was lovely , firm bed, huge telly, clean and modern. Charging platform and USB ports, which was great , good free WiFi. Good lighting great shower. Only downside, some noisy Canadian Geese, in the pond/ lake in the hotel grounds started ‘squawking’ at 4.30am..constant. Not much can be done, but apart from that a very good stay, happy customer, just bring ear plus for the geese!

Reasonable

Only a queen size bed in junior suite, too small for a couple but had to book as needed accessible bathroom. Mattress was awful - could feel all the springs. Couldn’t believe how poor quality it felt and it left my mum with bad sciatica.she ended up having to sleep on the sofa bed and left my dad in the bed. Food at dinner was only ok (veg was way too al dente - couldn’t even cut through it!). Breakfast was plentiful and not bad (also not great). I’d say it’s a nice looking hotel - lobby area is very nice - but maybe a bit expensive for what it actually is.
