Open living, dining, and kitchen, covered porch, W/D, D/W, 5G WIFI, smart TV, and H/C outside shower. Den includes a 55" Samsung smart TV and Master includes a 32" Roku smart TV. Master has adjoining, private bathroom.

Separate entry steps and a wall on the porch provide privacy from other guests.
Linens and check-out cleaning service are included in your rental.

We enjoyed the direct access to the beach, beautiful sunsets and live music from the restaurant at night. We were impressed with how the unit supplied many things we have not seen at other places we have rented Supplying an extra cabinet for dry goods, a whole bin filled with food storage containers, a closet full of games and a room under the deck filled with beach chairs, fishing poles, yard games, etc. It appeared to us that the owner goes the extra mile to make his guests stay more comfortable.

Great Location

Could not beat the location and view. To say this property is recently renovated is a huge stretch - the furniture is old, the microwave handle was duck taped, and the floor was spongy in places. We had to unload the dishwasher when we got there, and it smelled moldy (I'm aware it's summertime in the south). There needs to be sound deadening between the units - we could hear a lot of conversations next door. With just a little love, this property could be spectacular. Loved Island Way restaurant and visiting Southport.

Home Away From Home

This property has everything you need for that perfect beach stay. Despite the fact that it’s a duplex, there is plenty of privacy on the porch with the barrier wall and inside, good sound proofing. Superior cleanliness, and what appeared to be high quality new mattresses. Hardwood floors for easy care and ample amount of quality cookware. Island Way is right next door for eat in or carry out. We will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful

The property is well kept and very clean. It is also in an amazing location 20 minutes from all needs and wants. Priceless to be able to send your kids up to the house to use the bathroom grab a snack etc and be able to watch them to and from the house to the beach.

Location is amazing! Comfortable place

Great location right near the pier and on the beach! Communication with the owner was prompt and kind. Checking in / out through a local rental agency was do-able. Remember, its a beach rental, linens were dropped in a bag via a cleaning service but everything worked out well. Comfortable enough place, certainly great value for the cost, we'd go back!Bring toilet paper, there was ZERO TP when we arrived

Good but surprised it was a duplex

Clean and great location. Did not realize it was a duplex.We were also surprised that there were no starter products. No paper towels no toilet paper no dishwashing liquid very little body soap. Had to buy.

We loved the layout, the location, decor and the beds were comfy. The only complaints ?and they were tiny) were we found dirty silverware in the drawer, We were surprised that we had to put on our own bedding and remove them upon departure primarily because one of us is in a knee brace and one was in a boot. And there was nothing there as far as shampoo, soap, even to we had to go buy because we stayed 3 nights. There are a few spots on the flooring that are soggy we were careful on. I’m sure overall rentals always need extra TLC.

Bad neighbors

We like to stay on in ocean front on the beach so we can open the door and hear the ocean and smell the salt air. However, our neighbors were smoking pot. So all we could smell that first day was their stinky weed. Also, we were instructed to call the office for possible early entry but the office was closed. We were fortunate to catch the cleaning lady who allowed us to entry after confirming our reservation. She was so kind. Also, we were shocked that there was no toilet paper or paper towels. We have never in 40 years gone into a rental property at the beach and not had such basics on hand. We were told later that it was because it was "off-season." Probably won't stay here again or use this rental agency.

Except for having zero toilet paper late Sunday evening when we arrived and a screaming baby for the first night, it was wonderful. There were no occupants next door after the first night. It really needs sound deadening between the walls.

Great Place!

This is our 2nd year staying at this property. While we enjoyed it last year there were some issues, but not enough to prevent us from returning this year. Everything was resolved, and we could not have been happier with our stay. Location is excellent (2 doors down from a fabulous restaurant: Island Way, that's totally affordable w great food), it's clean and well taken care of, and we noted too, that the appliances had been improved (silverware, cookware, etc). We're excited and planning on returning for our 3rd visit in the fall of '25.
