This was the most Stressful and Aggravating beach vacation we have ever experienced. The day we were supposed to leave for the beach, we had not received any arrival info after asking repeatedly from the host/listing agency. We delayed packing our vehicle, thinking this may be a scam. The listing agency finally gave us the door lock code, but we were already late for leaving.
When we entered the property, there was a very strong "musty" smell. Air freshener had to be purchased, and sprayed throughout the property. When we entered the kitchen, there were ants, bugs and ROACHES crawling on the countertops, inside the cabinets and drawers and on the floor. An Exterminator had to be called. We washed all kitchen items we thought we would use and stored them in plastic bags. All non-refrigerated food items were stored in plastic bags. This was not an overnight problem, but an infestation.
The Wi-Fi/Internet did not work. A technician had to be called to restore the connections.
The TV's did not work, the technician had to reset the network connections.
We were preparing to cook dinner and the stove did not work. We discovered a circuit breaker had tripped. Why a stove would trip a breaker was very concerning.
This was our first and last time renting this property....the only good thing to say was the weather was nice.....
