Family oasis beach retreat in quiet woodlands

Savor the sand between your toes, stunning sunsets, and beautiful beaches of Oak Island while enjoying our spacious, open floor-plan 5 bedroom home. 3 bedrooms are on first floor with 2 full baths, and a large screened-in porch perfect for enjoying your morning coffee. Upstairs is another bedroom, full bath, and cozy loft with 4 built-in bunkbeds and two huge bean bag chairs - the perfect hang-out area for the kids! Sleeps 14 and pet friendly (dogs only).

The house is located on a peaceful, quiet street, just 0.5 miles from the beach with lots of parking at the public beach access. It is a half a block from the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW), with a public pier just 0.2 miles away, and a boat ramp just 0.3 miles away. Minutes from Publix, Food Lion, beach stores, and multiple restaurants (including the famous BBQ House and Scoops ice cream and donut shop, which are within walking distance).

The fully-stocked kitchen includes a Kitchen Aid mixer, large crockpot, electric griddle, waffle maker, lots of serving bowls, all the basic spices, and a coffee maker - making cooking a breeze! Other amenities include a large pantry, charcoal grill in the backyard, TV in every room, washer and dryer, central HVAC, a 2nd refrigerator/freezer, and extra coolers in the garage. Bikes, beach toys, a beach buggy, and cornhole are available for guest use. The outdoor shower is ideal for quick clean-ups after a day at the beach.

All beds have comforters, mattress pads, and pillows. Bed linens are provided in a clean packet on your bed along with a bath towel and washcloth for each guest. Please bring your own beach towels.

This is a very family friendly house. The built in bunks are awesome. We didn’t have any kiddos with us this time. It’s the second time we have stayed in this house and we would definitely stay again. It’s a beautiful house and in a nice location to all of Oak Island. Spacious, Well-Equipped Home Perfect for Families

We had an amazing stay. The house offered plenty of sleeping options, making it perfect for a large group. There were many games for the younger kids to enjoy, and the upstairs nook provided a great space for the older kids to have their own area. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare a holiday feast, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The house is conveniently located close to grocery stores, restaurants, and the beach. We didn’t try walking due to the cold weather, but in warmer months, I’m sure the walk wouldn’t be too bad. The variety of family games and activities kept everyone entertained. We’ll definitely consider returning in the future.

Perfect Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We get together with our friends annually at a different location as we live in Richmond, VA and they live in Charlotte, NC. It was the perfect house with a fun bunk room for the four kiddos and spacious rooms for the four adults. The location was perfect
 got to walk our dog by the Intercoastal Waterway to see sunrise then walk to the beach in less than a mile. Absolutely perfect location! Owners were great and provided great communication.

Perfect Family Stay

We had our first full family vacation years here. It was the perfect stay with the most amazing and helpful hosts. The house was well equipped for cooking for a crowd every night. The kids loved the bunk beds and the adults loved the back patio.

Perfect fit

The house was a perfect fit for our family gathering. There was lots of space for everyone. The loft space upstairs was perfect for the kids. We had good hot water when all 3 showers were running. The kitchen had a good variety of pans and appliances. The the keypad entrance was perfect, very easy to use, we didn’t have to worry about keys. Great location with Publix at the end of the street. Stop light one street over made it very easy to get on to the the main road. They seemed to have put a lot of thought in to the house.
