Sand Dollar Inn is everyone’s vacation dream for large family and friend getaways - with room to sleep 26, it’s perfect for your next family reunion or wedding. Fido is welcome as well, as the property allows up to two dogs per reservation (additional dogs are considered on a case-by-case basis.) Also equipped with an elevator and handicap-accessible bedroom and bathroom, anyone in the family can feel at home while finding their place by the sea!

Guests will appreciate the quality and craftsmanship of this luxury home constructed by Moffitt Builders, Inc., one of the largest and most trusted builders on the Oak Island. No expense has been spared on this modern, upscale beach home. The parking area of this home is equipped with a TESLA charger for charging your eco-friendly electric vehicles.

Comfortably cook and entertain in the gourmet chef’s kitchen equipped with two refrigerators, a professional gourmet gas stove and double oven.

There’s also a second kitchenette and living area to make grabbing a late-night snack a breeze.

Spend your day on the water via beach access or lounge in the pool or spa. In the evening, cozy up by the fireplace with a glass of wine or create lasting memories with a game of shuffleboard or pool.

Offering a flat-screen smart TV in each spacious, professionally decorated bedroom, unwinding after a day of fun is a breeze. With nine rooms boasting a king bed, there’s plenty of room for everyone to stretch out and relax.

This property's pool has heating capability! Guests should note that an additional pool heating fee is required for each day a guest requests pool heating. Guest must request the pool heating and pay the fee by calling the OIA office during normal business hours at least 24 hours prior to arrival. Pool heating is only available when temperatures are 55 degrees Fahrenheit and warmer.

Sand Dollar Inn

The location is great. The gathering space works for a large group. Having the small lounge with the TV was a plus letting the young kids watch their shows while adults watched theirs. The pool is wonderful. The key less entry on the main door did not work at check in. Luckily the keypad on the elevator worked and we were able to access the house. It was not fixed before we left but I will say they sent someone out. The person said they needed to access a bedroom ,where we had a baby sleeping, we asked him to come back in an hour and never saw him again. We were not able to lock the house which except for one evening when the group went out to dinner didn't matter because someone was always there. When we arrived there was sand on some of the floors and on the couch in the living room. Its the beach so sand is to be expected but you would think since the cleaning crew pulled out as we pulled in it would have at least been sand free day one. Some of the kitchen serving pieces, glassware and the potholders were dirty. I blame this on whoever stayed there before us because the put things away dirty. Whoever came in after us was treated to newly washed potholders and a kitchen where everything was put away clean. Our family really enjoyed The Sand Dollar Inn and would stay there again in the future. I also recommend Quicksand concierge for beach chair rental.

Great property

Eventhough we checked in after a hurricane hit North Carolina property was in great shape! Walking distance to the beach. Property was perfect for our family of 23! Kitchen had more than enough cooking supplies. Grocery stores were nearby. Entrance, grill and pool area did need a little cleaning. Was full of spider webs. There were a few bugs inside home. We didn’t read description were it states to supply your own toilet paper!!! Not alot to do in the area but the boardwalk and broadway is about 1 hour drive away.overall its a great property.
