The hotel looks beautiful, but is old and shows signs of deterioration, the hot water is a little bit hard to get the right temperature ( be careful because the water sometimes comes extremely hot and can burn your skin).
The housekeeping personnel are very good.
The rooms don't have good sound insulation so you are able to hear all the noises from outside the room, if you want to rest at night time I don't recommend this hotel because there is loud music almost every night either from the bar, Guelaguetza Auditorium or from the salon where they do events and the music goes to around four in the morning, you can also hear the airplanes approaching the airport.
The carpet in the room is torn.
There is nothing around the hotel so you either have to take a taxi or walk and if you are not in good shape i won't recommend you to walk because the hotel is on a hill and during rainy days there is a lot of water coming down the hill and you are going to get completely soaked.
I don't recommend this hotel, there are way better places in Oaxaca to stay.
