We had a wonderful stay in Oban and this property was so fitting for our stay. We could walk everywhere and see the Town, shop and visit restaurants without needing a vehicle. We felt like we were at home with family. The owner John was so helpful and went above and beyond to help us with transportation when we were leaving to return back to London to go home. The property has a wonderful bar and knowledgable staff. Thank you Chris for hosting us each day.

The owner was lovely and the area was perfect for walking around Oban. The room is on the smaller side , a bit dark but very clean. The bed was comfortable and a good shower. The bagged breakfast was a nice touch. I would recommend the Whiskey vault.

We loved the size of the property, small but quaint. The wood stove was very nice in the small bar after we would come in out of the rain. Chris was full of knowledge about the large selection of whiskey. John was a great help with figuring out transportation for us when the rail line had flooded during our stay. The beds were very comfortable. We were upgraded to a superior room which was really appreciated. We would stay here again. Also loved Oban in general. Such a pretty little town, lots of nice shops/restaurants/bars all within walking distance. We hope to come back some day and would stay at the Whiskey Vaults Hotel😊

Great hotel and stay! Very nice room, and comfortable beds. No lifts, so be prepared. That was the only small issue. GREAT bar with 350 different whiskies! While not an "official" tasting, the bar tender was super knowledgeable and helped me with my own tasting/flight. Exceptional. Great location right in town, but one street removed to miss traffic. Easy parking, but paid. Also, walking distance to Oban Distillery (personal favorite!)

Front desk clerk at check in was very friendly and helpful. Lack of elevator for luggage was tough. Otherwise room was simple yet stylish.

Hotel room was excellent however the bathroom fan was slowed and stayed on for an extended period of time and the water in the pipes ran continuously and was quite loud. It was fine if the bathroom door was left closed
