Not the best but ok

The location is great but the rooms were antiquated, and whole room outdated, loud fan-toilet, bed not so comfortable although we had a nice lake view. We also had to pay an extra of 15 francs Per Person! if we wanted to use the pool. When we checkout the lady at the reception wanted to charge the pool per day but we had agreed in our checking with another receptionist that it was included for the two days as we only stayed one night. The pool was nice and since we guess is low season wasn’t so crowded. We paid around 160fracs for the night and no type of breakfast was included, nor coffee etc, +30 francs for two people for using the pool/sauna

pool/wellness is not included

after landing in zurich at 11pm, i thought this place worth an extra hour drive and a few extra bucks, because i can wake up here with a few laps in the pool and a session in the sauna. bad idea. first of all, they gave me the late check-in code, but never explained to me, that my room is not in the main house. i was looking up and down for 30 mins but all rooms started with 3,4,5 and mine with a 1.... so i need to have somebody to come on site, and after all this time wasted, show me where this other building is. without him i would never find it. it was not marked anywhere. also, the difference between the two bulidings is like a youth hostel and a 4 stat hotel (in fact this "other" bullilding is some home for nuns or church workers i think... not that anything wrong with that, but its not the same quality) second of all, the sauna didnt work at all and the swimming pool (12m long) is charged at 15.50 chf. i always find it odd when a hotel charges hotel guests for its own in-house pool, but if thats the case, it should be VERY clearly communicated everywhere (on hotels.com there is zero indication of this extra fee) all in all i wasted a lot of good sleep time and could have get a nice bed and breakfast right at the zurich airport for about 70% of what i paid here. the breakfast was pretty good quality.

Grosse etwas 'altbacken' eingerichtete Zimmer, dafĂŒr modern renoviertes grosses Badezimmer. Lobby gross und weitlĂ€ufig. Parkplatz unten am Hang dh jedes Mal zum Hotel hochlaufen, was im Winter bei Schnee schon etwas mĂŒhsam ist. Zum Ausladen des GepĂ€cks und zum Check-in darf kurz direkt vor dem Hoteleingang parkiert werden. Zu Restaurant und Wellness-Bereich kann ich keine Auskunft geben, da nicht benutzt. am Par

Zimmerreinigung wurde nicht gemacht. Kein Hinweis bei Ankuft das man auf die TĂŒr ein Hinweistaferl zur Zimmerreinigung hinhĂ€ngen muss. Beim 2. Mal gemacht, trotzdem wieder keine Reinigung. An der Rezeption keine vernĂŒftige ErklĂ€rung geliefert. Duschbereich zu klein, unhygenischer Vorhang. Ausserdem noch ein Sitzbankerl im Duschbereich, somit kann man sich gar nicht mehr bewegen.

Hotel mit toller Lage und super Personal

Auch wenn das Hotel eine Ă€ltere Bausubstanz hat, wurde vieles mit Liebe zum Detail modernisiert und mit neuen Anbauten ergĂ€nzt. Sehr ansprechend sind die vielen Sitzgelegenheiten und Sitzecken ĂŒberall und die vielen SitzbĂ€nke im Freien. Schöner, neuer Wellnessbereich und Cafeteria mit Selbstbedienung an den Randzeiten und in der Nacht. Zimmer sehr gerĂ€umig, gemĂŒtlich und sauber. Wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer mit wunderschönem Ausblick auf den See und die Berge. Hervorzuheben ist das tolle, wirkliche freundliche Personal und der super Service auch beim Essen. Die Auswahl beim Abendessen ist sehr beschrĂ€nkt, dafĂŒr aber sehr lecker und wir haben es gemocht. Wir können das Hotel vollumfĂ€nglich weiterempfehlen!! Die gesamte AtmosphĂ€re des Hotels und der weitlĂ€ufigen Anlage, sowie die Lage selber sind einfach toll. Auch der kleine Badebereich am See nur mit GĂ€stekarte und mit kostenlosen Standup Pedals hat uns gut gefallen. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nĂ€chsten Besuch!!

Överlag ett vĂ€ldigt trevligt hotell med fin spaavdelning. Det största minuset Ă€r att parkeringen ligger lĂ„ngt ner i en brant backe, sĂ„ Ă€r man i dĂ„lig form blir det snabbt jobbigt.
