Historic hotel with cozy rooms at a great location

Great hotel for visiting the Schwarzwaldhochstraße, and heading across the border to the Alsase region in France. We enjoyed the included breakfast to start off our day and had a nice dinner at the restaurant one evening. The staff was very friendly and multilingual and helped us with our limited Deutsch. The room was comfortable and thankfully well heated. Thanks to the management and staff for maintaining an historic hotel from the 1600s and keeping up with 21st century amenities. We look forward to a future stay!

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and made all effort to make me feel at home: I was traveling with my dog and they allowed him into the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Dinner was excellent. The town of Overkirch is quite delightful - good place to wander around and the Obere Linde a very comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Great location and super clean room

Location excellent and room was very clean and large. The bathroom was very pretty and large as well. It was easy to walk to the town center, good shopping and restaurants nearby. Tasty breakfast as well, included in price.

Mooi hotel met mooi uitzicht vanuit restaurant

Leuk hotel met goede voorzieningen en vriendelijk personeel. Eten is zeer goed. Wel is het beetje vreemd dat niet alle hotelkamers bereikbaar zijn binnendoor, maar enkel via een gebouw aan de overzijde die enkel buiten bereikbaar is. Verder dik in orde.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful area

This pretty hotel is in traditional German style - the room we stayed in was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. Breakfast served on the terrace was very good. The local area is beautiful. I would very happily re-visit this hotel.
