Renovated, Lovely home just steps to the beach is available now. Old Landing House is a recently updated, furnished, two-bedroom, two-bathroom bayside duplex home located in uptown Ocean City, MD. Unwind and relax in this charming family home with wrap-around decking. Located in a residential community just one and a half blocks away from the beach. This property has a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area. The living room has a wall-mounted smart tv for guests to log into their streaming programs and a large sofa. The master bedroom has two double beds, a smart television, and a private bathroom. The second bedroom has two double beds, a smart tv, and a private bathroom. House Amenities: Two private parking spaces and first-come, first-serve street parking, free wi-fi, central air conditioning and heat, ceiling fans, stackable washer & dryer, and linens included. Our guests love this property and the easy access upon arrival. This property does not allow smoking, pets or renters under 25 years of age.

Everything was wonderful. Previous reviews complained about the shower, no where to put your clothes, and no umbrella. My wife and I thought the shower pressure was amazing. In the property description it explains there is a chest of drawers in each bedroom. And an umbrella is now provided inside residence to use for the patio. Very clean, property is just as it’s described. We loved being so close to the beach! It was amazing to have a washer and dryer, now I only have 1 load left to wash once we get home. Communicating with the host was top notch. Will definitely stay here again!

The kitchen has about everything you'd need. It has both a keurig and regular coffee pot. The major downfall was the shower heads were terrible, we used cups to help us rinse our long hair good. The bathroom off the bedroom with the washer and dryer didn't have a plastic shower curtain, it only had the outer one. But we went and bought a cheap one to use. Overall our stay was great! The check-in was easy and we even was able to enter a tadbit early.

Although I do not cook on vacation (lol), the kitchen facilities were good. However when I asked if I'd be notified if the property were to be available earlier, my question was not addressed. I was simply reminded of the check in time.

Overall place was nice and very close to beach. My 2 issues are the showers and the fact you need to hand in linens at 9am when check out is 11am. So we basically had to get up early just to hand the linens in so we would not incur a late fee of 25. The showers are really small and pressure in shower head is too strong. My son said it hurt when he showered, especially with a little sunburn. My husband probably wouldnt have been able to take a good shower since it is small.

Clean, location good. It may sleep 8 people, but it is too small for a family to even gather (table 4 chairs, one sofa lounger for 3). Deck furniture is lackluster and NO umbrellas (although shown in photo) so without any shade, outdoor sitting in summer is very limited. NO ice cube trays or icemaker. No closets so prepare to live out of your suitcase. No room in kitchen cabinets for any provisions you may bring.

Pros and cons

Pros: Host responded quickly. The place was clean.Convenient to the bus and beachLinens are providedCons: The shower feels like pins and needles when you shower due to the shower head being clogged in spots.There isn’t anywhere to put your clothes you need to live out of your suitcase. There isn’t anywhere to put your groceries if you decide to cook a few meals other then on the kitchen table.There wasn’t an umbrella for the deck which is needed due to the sun beating on it all day and having rod iron furniture.The bed is squeaky and bang against the wall when you move in it.The couch really only fits 2 people comfortably.The place is very small. I had my husband, daughter and myself and really couldn’t imagine having any more people due to the size of the living space.

Millie was very responsive and accommodating. However we were disappointed there were no closets or bureaus in both rooms to put our clothing, etc. Also it appeared that many of the amenities were not present such as bathroom tissue and soap. The location was very convenient to the beach, stores and restaurants.
