Welcome to Castaway The Day! We're back! We have done some exciting updates during our 18 month hiatus, that have been recently completed and new for the 2026 season! New flooring throughout the entire unit, updated kitchen with new white cabinetry, Marble countertops, backsplash, new faucets, updated lighting, and new kitchen appliances. We also spruced up each of the bedrooms with new bedroom furniture and fresh new bedding! Each bathroom has also had new mirrors, lighting, and faucets added. The unit has been recently given a fresh coat of paint from top to bottom and several old windows have been replaced.

Sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine on our new patio furniture! The sea breeze on the ocean-facing balcony with new outdoor furniture or take the shortest walk to the oceanfront pool, beach access and tiki bar! Located on the quiet, upscale west end of Ocean Isle Beach. The complex is part of Islander Villas, one of the newer accommodations on the island. Each building includes 6 Villas and an elevator. Our Villa includes access to a large oceanfront pool at the Isles Beach Club. There are balconies located in the front and back of the Villa.
One of the biggest advantages of our Villa is that it is the closest Villa in the entire Islander Resort to the oceanfront pool, Tiki Bar and La Volte restaurant at the Isles Beach Club.
This spacious 1,700 sqft Villa features 4 well-appointed bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bathroom and 9ft ceilings throughout. With plenty of room to sleep 12, our Villa includes 2 king, 2 queens and 2 full beds. The Master Bedroom includes one king bed. The attached master bath includes dual vanity sinks with a jetted tub/shower combo. The second master bedroom includes one king bed, a mini-fridge and a bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Bedroom 3 includes one queen, one full bed and a bathroom with shower. Bedroom 4 has one queen bed and one full bed with an attached bathroom with shower.

We have made some significant upgrades within the Villa including:
New stainless refrigerator
New stainless microwave
New stainless stove

Clean, roomy & well stocked condo

We enjoyed our stay at this villa because it was clean, easily accessible and very well stocked but there are a few things future renters may benefit from knowing. There is a hot tub listed in the Pool & Spa section of amenities. When we attempted to turn it on and get in it, we were told by an Islander Villas employee that the hot tub hasn't worked in years. We were also disappointed to find that the pool closed at 7pm daily and even more disappointed in the tiki bar. The service was a disaster, if you could get any service, the drinks were the worst of any we had this week, and it closed at 530pm daily. Also, it should be noted that you're only allowed to use the shibumi shade on the beach. We set up a 4 post canopy for shade and was told to take it down by beach patrol, they claimed because of safety reasons but it made no sense whatsoever. The house was clean, very roomy and well stocked although we were surprised it didn't have crab crackers and dish towels, luckily we were able to do w/o the crackers and we brought our own dish towels. The master bedroom with the separate a/c had a strange smell but the a/c filters were clean. All in all we had a great vacation with great weather - Hurricane Debby wreaked havoc after we left. I would recommend this condo.

Even with Hurricane Debby we still had a great time. Communication with owners was great. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness because there was a lot of dust on ceiling fans in bedrooms and lamp shades.

Highly recommend!!! Overall our stay was great. Property is well stocked inside & out and in a Great Location. The electrical upgrade to charge golf carts was much appreciated. Beds are comfy. Plenty of room for all 7 of us. Floors could use a good once over inbetween rentals but considering the traffic it gets….☺️ OIB never disappoints 🌞🌴🌞🌴

Beautiful Place

Beautiful place on first floor of the condo! Access to a huge pool and two different easy access to the beach within walking distance. Golf cart charging under the condos was very convenient. Condo had everything your normal home has which made for a very easy stay! Owner was very responsive to any questions!! Great place to stay!!

Very nice OIB Condo

This home has a great balcony with an ocean view. It was great to have all of the kitchen basics including Keurig and pods. All bedrooms were nicely furnished and comfortable. The big complaint -- and certainly not to the owner of this condo -- was the yappy dogs next door. Really, if you can't keep your dogs moderately quiet leave then home or put on a bark collar!

I've stayed at this condo in the past, the last time was 2020. It was great, but this time the condo seemed surface clean only, it was very dusty, blinds baseboards. We saw several dead roaches but also killed a few while we were there and quiet a few gnats. They were flying in your face wherever you were inside. The upgrades are very nice, beds were very comfortable. Nice appliances! I realize rentals get a lot of wear and tear but maybe need a little deep cleaning.

Family Wedding Weekend

Enjoyed our stay for a family wedding weekend at the Ocean Isle Beach Club. Property was exactly as described. Great spaces for conversation inside and out. Comfortable and tasteful furnishings for 8 adults)l. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need. The only things that could be improved were the quality of linens proved by the linen service (would bring from home next visit) and the air in the primary bedroom (because the room is not connected to the central air, the separate wall unit in the room struggled to keep up with the humidity.) Will definitely stay here again. Thanks for sharing it with us.

5 Star Property

This place has it all! Excellent location! It's close to the beach club and pool as well as two beach access points. We loved the four bedrooms with the four bathrooms so everyone had their own space. Fully equipped kitchen and overall very well stocked condo. We loved having the use of beach chairs and umbrellas and played lots of bocce ball. Excellent place to stay at OIB!
