This is a super clean little house with a lot of charm. The kitchen is well-stocked with all of the cookware and supplies one would need, the bedrooms are nicely kept and we love the deck and dock. Second time staying here and we are already looking at our calendar for next time. We so appreciate that we can bring by our dog with us too. The neighborhood is extremely walkable, with quick access to the interpretive center. The tides have reclaimed the beach access that was nearby but that didnât take away much from our time there. The beaches are great and quick to drive to.
My husband and dog enjoyed our stay. Great location on the canal. Lots of wildlife. Really cute cabin. We enjoyed nightly fires. The bed was super comfy. The house was clean and well stocked. The owners were quick with communication. The toilet is on the small side, but so are we, so it didn't effect us at all. The neighbor was doing a little construction and an alarm of some sort was going off on his property for a bit, but he was very kind and it only impacted our stay the first night.
The house is beautiful inside and out. There are so many wonderful creatures that visit- from deer to birds to even bats! Very close to the beach, restaurants, shops, etc. Come here for a lovely time.
We had so much fun in this house for the weekend! We wish we would have read the report on the closest beach being closed but the house had everything we needed for a beach day! Owner was quick to reply with any questions we had, super friendly!
Sofa clean and comfortable. Beds very uncomfortable.
I am senior and the only way to sleep on the rock hard mattress was to pad it with spare pillows. There is no air conditioning so in the afternoons I could not sit on the wonderful, soft clean sofa to read since the heat was more than I could tolerate. The rug in the living room was so dirty I rolled it up. There were nice, thoughtful touches like cold filtered water in the fridge, dog bones, and Band-Aids available. I did not stay the last night because I needed a good sleep.
This place was a great house on the canal. Was well stocked and just had a cozy feel. Beds were great and loft was perfect for the grandkids. We would definitely like to stay here again.
Great space for a small group- it was ideal for my friend and I. I liked that kindling was left and the sâmores ingredients were much appreciated. We did a fire in the pit two nights and hanging out by the water was relaxing. House was very clean, but there was quite a bit of broken glass trapped in a fold up chair and to the right side of the house. That could have been an issue for a pet or anyone barefoot.
We loved our stay. It was too short. House is as seen in the pictures. Cozy couch and master bedroom bed. Bathroom is VERY small. An ADA toilet would have been helpful for me. Neighbors are nice and wave at you as you walk by.
Very cute and in nice neighborhood. Only complaint well 2 there was broken glass all over deck on side of house and yard. The rug going in house had large pee stain from a oet not ours.
Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. We spent most of our time in the Quinault Rainforest and in a town called Seabrook. But we liked this little area. There is a place down on the beach about a 15 minute drive where you can ride horses. That was a lovely experience and was 100% worth it. Everywhere else is a bit of a drive but I liked that we werenât far from the beach. Not much else to do in this town but the house had all the amenities we needed for 4 women. Itâs a nice quiet retreat for those looking to connect with Mother Nature. The host is very responsive as well. We will be coming back for sure!
We celebrated our 31st anniversary at this cute, cozy cottage. Was a little surprise that it needed some major TLC. The shower and bathroom sink did not drain well. The hot water tank in the bathroom was very loud, we could hear it in the bedroom all night. The sliding door was very hard to slide.
This little house is just perfect. Clean and super comfortable beds. Thats a big plus! Host was quick to answer all my questions. Quiet neighborhood. Loved it all.
