Stroll around our 3 enchanting acres of tropical plants and flowers of the Big Island, or you can sit at the Tiki Bar and observe the green geckos and colorful Hawaiian birds. Venture out to Punalu'u Beach, also known as Black Sand Beach, to see the turtles, hike to Green Sand Beach or visit Mount Kilauea Volcano. Peaceful Retreat
We found everything we needed in a restful home base during our 3 nights at this guest house. Steve, our host was very friendly and helpful. The gardens were a treat to wander through and we awoke to the sound of birdsong every morning. We really appreciated the beach towels, and cooler provided for our visits to the nearby Punalu'u' Beach and Ho'okena Beach Park.

Wonderful stay
We loved this lovely apartment. It was comfortable with some lovely touches like the table set with tiny paper umbrellas. We also had access to snorkeling equipment, which we enjoyed using. The rooms were large and spacious and the bed comfortable. Definitely worth it.

Fantastic
The guest house was exactly as described and the hosts Steve and Mia were wonderful, very attentive to our needs. The house was well equipped and we appreciated the little touches. The house had a pleasant beach feel. Would recommend this as a stay for families. We wish we had more time.

Best Value in the Area for Excellent Accommodations
My wife's family is local from Hamakua side and we're on the Big Island regularly for the last 35 years. Much of the family works in the hospitality business, so we know of what we speak. One would be hard pressed to find a better, more attractive and accommodating spot in the Ocean View, South Point area. Beautiful landscaping of rock gardens, Lehua trees, flowers. And, the owner owners/managers live on site; a big plus for security and service if you should need anything. The only reason I rated communication with the property manager 3 was that there was difficulty making direct contact the day of the rental before we got there. Bear in mind, I had only made the reservation 36 hours ahead. We will be back.
