This was our 3rd year staying here and it’s just the best. The house, neighborhood, and location are perfect. Even with Hurricane Erin’s effects we had a great time because the house is so well equipped. Thanks as always!

Quiet getaway

This was the perfect house for our family. It was clean and decorated so beautifully! Our pack n play fit perfectly in one of the his&her walk and closets in the master bedroom and worked great for our 1yr old. The house is just as cute as the neighborhood. It’s in a cul-de-sac and the neighborhood is so quiet and relaxing. And The short drive to the beach is a bonus. It’s nice to have the option of using the pool but we ended up running out of time. Such a cute and quiet place. We had the best vacation and would absolutely love to come back. Loved Bethany beach, the cute little shops and this house!

Beach Getaway

House was as advertised
beautiful! Clean and comfy home close to Bethany Beach. Close to restaurants, shops and other beach activities. Enjoyed watching the geese on the pond and listening to the fountain. So peaceful! Enjoyed the pool that the community offered. House was comfortable with lots of extras. Plenty of gadgets and utensils in kitchen. Games and other extras in the shed. Did not need to contact homeowner for anything during our stay. This house and location go to the top of our saved list! Wonderful beach getaway!

Great location! Beautiful view!

The house is in a wonderful neighborhood close to lots of shops and restaurants. Great location! The decor is really lovely, even nicer than the pics. Definitely decorated by a professional! Lots of space for sure!! So great to have a nice porch out front to sit and relax with a glass of wine (or 2) 😉. Wonderful view from the kitchen! The only reason we rated 4 star’s is because the house wasn’t as clean as it should be. It was disappointing as we paid a cleaning fee and there was what looked like coffee spilled down one of the cabinets, there were crumbs on the counter and on the tray that held the salt & pepper on the table. The refrigerator looked as though it hasn’t been wiped out recently and rust on the front of the door. I lifted the bath mat in the second bathroom and it had sand underneath of it. We didn’t go to the beach? Also - remember to bring your own sheets and towels because we didn’t notice that in the listing and had to buy sheets and towels. So glad there was a washer and dryer. Overall, it is a beautiful property in a really nice location! Just needs a little more attention to housekeeping.

Spacious house, fun neighborhood.

Loved the house, neighborhood, and ease of rental. Disappointed that the cabinets were a jumbled mess.I had to rearrange all the cabinets to find space for the supplies and food that I brought... There was a lot of leftover food from what I assume was previous renters. It just needs a good going through and I think it should be ready to use when you get there. BUT I love the community, the pickleball courts were so fun, and having the pool was great. Overall, I enjoyed the stay.

Quiet and Beautiful

We just arrived home from our stay, my family had a wonderful time. All of the amenities were included, the house was perfect for our family of 4 and plenty of room to spare. We enjoyed the neighborhood and all the surrounding area had to offer. Close to downtown Bethany, the beach, water activities, mini golf, state parks, the list goes on. Thank you for our stay!!!

Lovely week

We spent a week at this property and had the best time. The home is beautiful, well equipped, and my son absolutely loved fishing out back each day and night. The whole complex is great and so nice for our nightly walks. We highly recommend it!

Perfect Getaway Accomodations!

We loved our stay! Outdoor sitting space out front and out back, toys for kids to play with, spacious rooms with plenty of room for a pack and play in one, close to the beach, restaurants, and neighborhood pool. We could not have asked for more for our stay. It was the perfect place to accommodate from a 2 month old to grandparents.

Lovely Beach Cottage!

This cottage was perfect for our family vacation. The inside is even prettier than the pictures, beautifully decorated and well-kept. Our kids, 1 and 3, had plenty of room to play safely inside and in the yard. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils to cook. Waking up to a water view was very relaxing, and we all enjoyed watching the baby geese from the kitchen table while we ate our meals. The neighborhood is set among beautiful trees and is perfect for walks. It's a very easy drive to the beach and restaurants. We would happily stay again for our next visit!

Just Right for Us

Family of 4.. all adults. Liked location overall.. quiet community and on cul de sac. Very accurate description.. close to pool and tennis courts. Plenty of cooking utensils and appliances. This would be good for family with younger kids too. Trolley ride was easily accessible walk. Spent all beach time on Fenwick Island which was 15-20 min drive. On my wish list for next time would be a gas grill as we usually eat in. Nice they provide beach chairs and cooler. Property manager was very responsive.

Family Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay! In the morning we sat outside and drank coffee by the water. The kids rode their scooters through the neighborhood to the little park and the pool. We spent entire afternoons at the pool! The location is minutes from great activities in Ocean View and just a quick drive over to the Bethany boardwalk and beach! We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and relaxing in the living room for movies. The fireplace is really nice! The house is comfortable and great for traveling with kids and grandparents. I liked the decor. This is a very charming vacation. Home!

Great Location, Outstanding Owner, Needs Better Cleaning

We had a great time at this lovely beach property. It was in a fabulous location and close to everything. The open floor plan was great and the home was decorated beautifully. We loved the backyard pond and watching the geese. The owner of the property has been tremendously helpful when my husband misplaced something. Unfortunately, the property wasn't cleaned very well. There were dead bugs on all of the window sills and by all of the baseboards and in all corners of the floor. There was hair in the shower and sink from the previous renters. There was also quite a bit of dust under the bathroom vanity and lamp shades. The floor needed a good mopping; if you walked around on it, your feet turned black. Overall, I would definitely recommend the property especially if the cleaning could be improved. The owner and the property itself are amazing.

Spacious, updated house with great amenities

This is a wonderful house! Lots of seating for lounging, as well as eating meals. Well decorated. Spacious master with a great bathroom. Love the view of the lake. The perk of the community pool was great since my toddler doesn’t like the ocean. We had a very comfortable stay and would rent again. Only minor criticism- the house was very clean and the floors looked clean, but they needed to be mopped (bare feet got dirty).

Perfect House by the Beach

This place could not be more ideally located, with easy access to both a beach and access to a pool. The house is well taken care of and is filled with beautiful touches both in the house and on the property around the house. This was our second time staying here and we plan to return next year!!
