Coastal Comfort - Stylish 2 Bedroom Condo - 1615-5

Welcome to your serene Oceanside getaway, an upper level 2 bedroom, 1
bath condo located just steps from the sand in a 5 unit complex. Thoughtfully designed for comfort, the condo features a king bed in the primary bedroom, full bunks in the second bedroom, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area, accommodating up to six
guests.

The fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need for home-cooked meals, and wall unit air conditioning ensures year round comfort. Parking is available in the covered carport (first-come basis) with additional street parking available if all are taken, and guests have access to shared laundry facilities during their stay. You will also have access to a shared BBQ, perfect for sunset dinners!

While the condo itself does not offer ocean views except for in the living room, you can enjoy beautiful coastal scenery from the shared patio and beach area, perfect for morning coffee or sunset watching. The direct beach access from the backyard through the rock barrier provides easy access for walks along the shore.

Ideally situated near local restaurants and a great beach / park for kids, this coastal retreat provides the perfect blend of relaxation and convenience. Whether you’re visiting
for a family getaway or a quiet beach escape, you’ll enjoy easy access to the ocean, inviting interiors, and the timeless charm of Southern California living.

All homes in Oceanside, CA sit behind a rock barrier protecting the homes from storm surges. The amount of sand beyond the rock barrier varies quickly with storms and tides and may have more or less sand than what is shown in the photos.

For your convenience, we provide a starter kit of essential items to get your stay off to a comfortable start. This includes a small supply of dishwashing pods, laundry pods, paper towels, tissues and toilet paper. Please note that these items are provided as a courtesy and are not intended to last for the entire duration of your stay. Guests may wish to bring or purchase additional supplies as needed.

The listing is false

The unit that I am in does not have beachfront access. It is designated to the other units and it almost feels like you are disturbing their privacy when you walk back there so it’s not for everyone. The gate was locked and we were not given a gate code and had to hop the gate. We couldn’t get anyone on the phone and when we did, no one called us back for a long time. The fridge was broke and a few other things I can’t remember them all. The home was clean but the entire listing was false

Quick Stay by the Beach

We stoayed 2 nights to soak up sun and enjoy the ocean. The toaster did not work in our unit but figured out how to toast bread. The place is very clean and beautifully located on the Ocean.

Falls short of description!

Just my take on what I thought I was renting and what was actual. There is no beach , you have a few feet of sand in front of a sea wall. You only have three lawn chairs. Your description never mentioned a roped of section for unit one only either! How can you honestly suggest that unit 5 can have 6 people , seriously. The couch smelt awful. Parking is horrible. The location is sketchy, homeless everywhere. Sleeping and setting up tents in the park where I wanted to walk my dog. Dog are allowed which is great but unit number 4 which I shared a deck with allowed there dog to poop there and not clean up. Also housekeeping needs to step it up. Lots of trash under the couch. Would like to have known you had rat traps with peanut butter, having a dog. The internet was always going in and out. Disappointed.

The unsecured toilet and no furnishings for soap, shampoo, etc in bathroom was kinda difficult. The outside/door light never did work correctly. Your quickness on resolving our issues was second to none,. Extremely quick, thank you! We'll definitely consider this VRBO on our next visit.

Decent stay

Location and neighborhood good. Lots of stairs! Parking not so great, even “spaces” provided very low and tight. For compact car only. Great walking paths nearby for exercise, but nothing really within walking distance. Smaller than described, but comfortable. Definitely in need of some upgrades
cabinets and such wouldn’t close, bathroom very dated and won’t. 4th & 5th unit share common grass area. Not a huge deal, but wasn’t known ahead of time. Unit gets very hot, and air takes a long time to cool it down. Overall decent stay, not sure that it would be first on my list to return too.

Beach access and proximity to Legoland combine summer pleasures of sun and fun brief vacation

Overall, this property served its purpose very well, which was to be close to both legoland and the beach in Oceanside, CA. It was clean, sunny, and the grandkids loved the porch access from the condo, and the fire pit on the outside porch made for a beach camping vibe and roasting marshmallows! Another plus is its proximity to a fantastic Breakfast and Coffee stand just a few blocks away that opens for coffee at 7 am and serves really good breakfast food and smoothies from 8-1pm.

TLC needed at this property

Between the dirty, trash filled beach area and the peeling paint, this place needs a lot of TLC. When calling for a working can opener, I was told that it is “ beachie”! No, it’s dirty and lacking all care to the property. For over $500 a night I definitely expect more than I/ we received . I am very sorry not to be able to recommend this property under any circumstance. It needs to be better managed and attended to 
. Then and only then would I book this property.

Family gathering

Arriving was very simple using the code for the front door and there was plenty of parking in the street. The gates had key pads, but we never had to use them because they wouldn’t latch and stay closed. We stayed in unit #5 and we were generally happy with the upstairs outdoor area and the cleanliness of the unit. However, the noise from the street was a little loud, especially at night, and the refrigerator was new but too big for the area so one of the doors wouldn’t open all the way. Also, the exterior part of the property could use some TLC, especially in the downstairs areas. There is some visible termite damage on the exterior and the waves crashing over the rocks were hitting the window of unit #1 when the tide was high and getting us wet when when sitting in the private beach area. The beach area is not quite as nice as the pictures show because of the waves coming over the rocks at high tide and the broken fence by the rocks. There is a very cute park nearby that has a cafe that serves coffee and breakfast. However you would have to walk a mile or two to get to a sandy beach to sit on. Overall, the area is pretty and we did enjoy some beautiful weather and sunsets, but I don’t think I would stay there again.

Lovely

Really enjoyed staying at this rental. You can hear the waves and smell the ocean the entire time. There is a cute park just across the street and great location to take walks. The only thing I would mention is that the beach isn’t actually a sandy beach that you can lay out at or play at. It’s very rocky and the tide does not go down. I believe this is why they have the chairs and sand, to replicate the beach. Otherwise loved everything!

Peaceful community

Our family had a wonderful stay. With 2 toddlers, finding a baby-proofed and family-friendly location is difficult. Pros: Location : right on the water Semi-private beach and shared deck we’re spacious and clean The apartment was spacious, beautifully decorated and the full-over-full bunk bed was a big plus! Just a few houses down from Buccaneer cafe. Fun people watching and lots of action but quiet at night and beach Cons: Shared deck : Luckily we had a wonderful neighbor sharing the deck from unit 4. I was told it was fully private but the bedroom for unit 4 leads directly out. We alternated using it so it was fine but with a loud neighbor it could be a real trip spoiler. Beach : *waves crashed on the property’s beach almost hitting unit 1 so the sand was wet in the mornings and you’d get soaked, esp at 10am. It scared my kids. I’m sure this will change depending upon the time and season. We stayed in February. *Public beach in front of beach was very rocky. —*Must climb down rocks to get to but no need to go at all as nice sandy beach onsite. Check in: although the apartment was cleaned and unused, it was hard to get in early (2:30/3pm). I would hope they’d be a little lenient within an hour of check-in time. Steep stairs : going to unit and lead directly from street (I should have brought a top-of-stairs baby gate!). Thank goodness they had a top bolt or my kids would be able to run to street no problem. And it’s a lot to lug everything up those stairs. Front living room hutch almost tipped over when opening the cupboard doors (Not earthquake proofed). With that all being said, I would go again in a heartbeat.

Poor location

The rental needed updated, by being old it appeared unclean. I didn't like that there was not beach access from the rental that was very misleading.The semi private beach was never available and other occupants left their belongings everywhere. The closest beach was rocky and very small. The property management was awesome.

Beach Front Vacation

Perfect Oceanside Vacation Rental

Perfect Oceanside beach rental! Everything was as advertised. The property was clean and nicely decorated; it felt very cozy. We stayed in unit 5. Access to the beach was simple and so close which made the stay so much more enjoyable, especially with little ones! The beach was also clean and the atmosphere was friendly. The rental was near a park and within a 5 to 10 minute driving distance to the pier, restaurants, and shops. Parking was simple, plentiful, and located across the street from the rental (behind unit 5). We never had a problem parking on the street and the shoulder to park was wide enough for the vehicles. Some reviews commented on the noise with traffic and a train. Honestly, we heard the train and some traffic, but it wasn't anything we were concerned with. It wasn't really overwhelmingly noticeable. Overall, we had a fantastic stay, and we plan to use Beachfront Rentals again in the future. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a cozy, beachfront stay.
