Communicating with the property owner, John, was incredibly easy and efficient. He went above and beyond to make our trip happen for us, very last minute and was super accommodating when we had some changes in our initial plans. I truly cannot say enough good things about him and his hospitality and willingness to help us have the best stay possible. The cabin and surrounding property were so secluded, beautiful and inviting. The cabin itself had several fun things like a game room in the basement which had a pool table that converted to an air hockey table. My daughter really enjoyed playing that with her Grandpa, several times. She was also super impressed when she saw her first 1990's style boombox with dual cassette players. And in the downstairs bedroom was a small TV with a VHS player and several movies to choose from. They had laid out "Field of Dreams" for us, which I thought was a nice touch, as we made the trip solely to watch our nephew play in the TSSAA Middle School Baseball Championship. The amenities outdoors like the covered pavilion with a grilling station and ample seating and hangout space; the fire pit with tons of wood available use; the hammock; the hot tub and the decks which have great views are what really made the place special. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in the area and have a very relxing and private little retreat in the woods. I hope to come back and stay here with my family again, soon!
