The location is perfect, allowing a short walk in one direction to the beach and in the other direction to all the shopping and dining options in the center of Ogunquit. The amenities are also excellent with a gym, pool, hot tub, pickleball courts, bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards, all at no cost. The only slight issue was soundproofing between rooms, but that wouldn’t stop us from staying again or highly recommending this gem in Ogunquit!

Everything was excellent! Would definitely stay again! Ogunquit beach is a minute walk! Tons of great restaurants and gift shops. Went on a great sailboat ride too! Had an Awesome time! And ... Beautiful weather!!!

Excellent location

The rooms were very clean and set up beautifully. Only complaint was the walls are a bit thin and we had neighbors that basically kept us up all night. The location is really close to the beach and the town! Great spot and wonderful personnel.

Expensive and old

The hotel is old and the room was musty. The ac struggled. The carpet felt damp in the room and hallway. The hot tub was behind a shed or fence it didn’t feel great to be looking at the fence and parking lot. Not the hotels fault but there a ton of kids in the hot tub not being monitored by their parents.

Aspinquid Hotel

It’s a nice hotel with proximity to both the beach and town. The big issue for this hotel is parking. They do not have assigned parking for rooms and it can be difficult to find a parking space when you take your car out. Spaces left are often difficult to get a larger car to fit. Furthermore the space available might not be anywhere close to your room.

I'd like to start by saying that Ogunquit is my HAPPY PLACE, as I grew up spending my summers here with family. The Aspinquid was like being in a time capsule from the 70's. The bathroom was the ONLY thing that appeared to be updated at all in this building. We were at the beach for a Girls' BFF Weekend from Florida, and I GET IT, it's THE BEACH. I also understand it is not a 5-Star Resort. However, I would've expected more updating for the price we paid for the room. When we arrived, the A/C was not turned on in the room and it was VERY HOT. The front desk staff was very nice and did find a fan for the loft BR which was oppressively hot. It took quite a while, but the room finally cooled off by the time we got back from dinner. We wore flip flops in the room to avoid stepping on the old carpeting. Beds were comfortable and it would be tough to beat the location, BUT this place needs a major decorative overhaul.

We have stayed at this hotel for a few summers in a row and previously loved it. This year was different. Families with small kids (ours are 2 and 4) I would recommend looking elsewhere to stay. We got a call from the front desk that the people staying below us complained about our kids being loud. As toddlers, they tend to run instead of walk and that was what I believe they were complaining about. That same day, these neighbors were banging on their ceiling as a way to tell us to quiet down? Again, our kids were not causing an excess amount of noise, they were just walking in a way that toddlers do. Maybe it’s an issue with the sound proofing of the rooms or maybe we just got grouchy neighbors. Either way, as a young family looking to stay close to the beach at a family friendly hotel, look elsewhere!

Great location

The hotel is in a great spot - short walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and really helpful. The only issue was that the ceiling above is really thin so you can hear the people above walking and even can even faintly hear them talking.
