Set amongst similar homes in park like setting amongst established trees and native birds and plants. This 2 bedroom home is double glazed and gets the morning sun which streams into the open plan kitchen and living area. There is an outside deck which is surrounded by natural fauna and bird life. Home has a heat pump and wood fire in the main area and wall heaters in the bedrooms for your warmth and comfort. Two double beds with a single child foam mattress bunk above one double bed, for a guaranteed good night's sleep after a day on the mountain. Linen is included plus blankets and duvets and towels. Other modern comforts t.v. stereo, dishwasher, microwave etc...

Separate laundry and drying room for all your ski gear.
Home is very close to all the necessary amenities such as the train station, supermarket, cafes, restaurants the popular Powder keg restaurant and bar. Only a kilometre to The Junction then a short drive up the mountain road to Turoa ski field

Whether you enjoy a day of skiing, hiking or mountain biking you will be glad to get to a warm cosy cottage. There are numerous nature walks,in the area from beginners to advanced. Dont delay book your summer or winter holiday now in this beautiful natural setting of Aotearoa.

A great place to stay for a winter holiday.

Little, lovely 'Skihut'.

Lovely house that was well equipped and nice furniture, good couches and bed and a bathtub. Outside was a trampoline for the kids. A drive of 50 minutes to the gondola up and than you could climb/walk mount ruapehu. Nice house, waterfalls and hikes nearby, no busy please or a good restaurant in walking distance.

Simply amazing

Excellent accommodation, the photos don’t do it justice this was very clean, the fire was amazing the house was so warm and cozy, the heat pump was on when we arrived. Plenty of cooking equipment and the kids loved the trampoline and the spa bath. we will definitely be back I can not rate this place enough. I didn’t want to leave! Highly recommended to all.

Very pleasant and quite location. Pretty easy to find and is minutes away from Ohakune. The house is very clean, in great condition and has all necessary appliances. Has both heatpump and a fireplace installed. Loved my stay here and definitely recommend.

A truly home away from home:)

The house was nice, impeccably clean, cosy and well equipped. The location is perfect, close to town but private and beautiful. The cherry on top of the cake are the hosts! Paul and Gina are so nice and easy to deal with, always available to help! We were lucky to have a snowfall during our stay and Gina put a big smile on our girls by lending a snow sledge for some fun in the snow! The girls didn't want to leave!!:) we will be back.

Great place to stay

We have stayed here twice now, and really enjoyed our stay both times. The bach is warm with the fire and heat pump, very clean, and in a lovely quiet area. The kids loved the spa bath, and its handy having the trampoline too. Being a new build the bach is very neat and tidy. Gina and Paul are great hosts. We will be back!

This is a fantastic place to stay! The property is located in a gated community so great for young children. It’s cozy, comfortable and warm with both a heat pump and a fire. The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen facilities are new, clean and have been built to a high standard with plush carpeting. The icing on the cake are the hosts, Gina and Paul who were just lovely; warm and welcoming and very responsive. I can not recommend either the house or the hosts more highly.
