If you like Cat’s and Onsen’s then this is the place for you. The onsen is nice and private for you to relax in with no worries either indoor or outdoor. All the cats are so adorable. The staff are so kind and accommodating. Want to come back soon. Highly recommend :)

Tidy, cats are so cute and the outside hot spring is beautiful , but the train tracks are too close, and it would noisy when the train passes by, it made us too hard to sleep and car park is not closed to hotel

What a great experience! Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, and delicious food. The cats theme is charming and we loved being able to spend time with them. It was nice having a private onsen and since there are limited guests, we didn’t have to reserve and were able to bathe whenever we asked. I recommend staying more than one night, and wish the trip were longer. Thank you for the beautiful stay!

This place was so cute and so much fun! It was a very relaxing weekend thanks to the staff and the cats. The establishment is cash only and you pay ¥1,000 yen per day for cat cafe access. Each morning your cat treats are restocked and you are left with a little snack as well to enjoy while playing with the cats. I will admit, the road to the hotel is a little rough, but that is bo flaw to the establishment. The staff are very kind, attentive, and accomodating. The room was also spacious and beautiful. I hope one day I may go back.

Excellent ryokan with super friendly staff, we really enjoyed our stay. The cats are cute and well taken care of, the baths are great and the room is pleasant. There is one caveat that needs to be mentioned: This is a cat-*themed* ryokan centered around the cats in the cat cafe that it hosts. The cafe is located inside the ryokan but acts as a separate entity and requires separate payment onsite. Very recommended for cat lovers! :3

Cat people reunite!

Where can I start? B&B and cat cafe and hot spring all in one? I was truly in heaven. Cats and owners are true winners. Away from main traffic, stores and restaurants. All I heard was local train goes by every hour or so. Cute sweets and well balanced breakfast. I really didn't want to leave.

Prefect for all cat-lovers! Wonderful services, foods, facilities, onsen, environment, cats and staff. It’s the warmest and best ryokan i have ever stayed. If i visit Yufu again, i must stay there for few more days to visit the cats and staff and to enjoy every moment again.

ねこカフェが併設してあるとのことで、ねこが好きなので泊まりたいと思いました。露天風呂も3つあり、家族で入れます。部屋には色々とねこのグッズ⁉︎時計や布団カバーや加湿器、ティッシュカバーが籐の籠だったりトイレの壁紙がねこ柄だったりと可愛かったです。猫ちゃん達も可愛かったです。癒されました。最初に猫ちゃんの名前とそれぞれの特徴やこれがダメでこう触ると喜ぶなど説明があり、よかったです。朝食前に時間があるので、その時間にも猫ちゃん達のところに行けるといいなぁと思いましたが、猫ちゃん達も休む時間がないといけないですもんね… 帰りは最後に入り口のところで記念に写真を撮って下さいました。ありがとうございました。また機会があれば行きたいです

民宿主人很有禮貌、民宿以貓做主題、有貓房可以和貓貓玩樂。房間整潔舒適但房內只有洗手間，沒有浴室，如洗澡需要去溫泉。早餐好吃，需額外加購。

Very nice owners, clean structure with private onsens. It's a bit outside Yufuin so it's very recommended if you have a car. Nice room, a bit expensive compared to a similar structure. You will appreciate many aspects of the structure if you're a cat lover.
