Valet parking? up charge not expected

first the Valet parking should be communicated to the guest ahead of time that parking is not free but a 32 charge. Set expectations from the start. my second issue was the guy next door got drunk as F*** and was Yelling and carrying on from 5pm to after midnight. Since our room and his has the door between his voice carried into our room with easy.

The room was clean. The staff was attentive and kind. The mattress was hard and not overly comfortable to sleep on. I could hear people outside of my room talking and the people in the room above mine walking across the floor. We were in a room on the street side, which also had train tracks, so we constantly heard traffic and the train. Shouldn’t have to pay to park if a hotel guest.

Air conditioner was not cooling the air and room was too hot to sleep in. After a long delay I was transferred to another room on the interstate highway side where the traffic noise was very loud even though I was on the top floor.

Stayed for concert at Paycom Centet and location was perfect! Parking at hotel was $25/day with in and out privileges, while the parking garage across the street was $10 every time you went in. The only “bad things” were the hotel bar closed at 10pm on Friday night, so by the time concert was over we had to go somewhere else if wanted a drink and the noise from the cars on the east side street.

Plenty of stuff to do in walking distance. Normal hotel room, everything was clean. Room smelled like smoke, and I don’t dig that the ac units are the window unit type and super noisy, other than those two things everything else was solid.

I would recommend

We stayed one night at this hotel simply to get on the Amtrak Heartland Flyer train to go to Texas. It was close to the train station, close to Bricktown to enjoy that fun! Room was very clean, breakfast was okay. You can hear highway noise though.

The room smelled like smoke, the mattress springs were terrible, the internet was slow, and the rooms on one side of the hotel back up to the highway and are extremely noisy from car traffic.

We stayed for an event at the convention center. The facility is nice and the staff is friendly. The only negative is the noise. Between the drag racing at all hours and the trains, it was hard to sleep in the wee hours.

Staff was great with the exception of one gentleman who was always sitting down and on his phone. I needed to ask a question at the desk and had to gain his attention away from his phone. The street next to the hotel is apparently used for racing because there were noisy cars all night and also trains going by all night next to the hotel. They did actually shake the bed. I chose the hotel because it is right next to the convention center. That was its one redeeming feature. Our room was nice and very clean, but did not have any kind of comfortable chair. I’ve never stayed in a hotel that didn’t have some type of lounge chair. Our bed was so broken down it was hard to keep from rolling off of it. Breakfast was decent. Typical hotel breakfast. I read several other reviews like this one but I still chose the hotel because of the location. I wouldn’t again. I spent more for this room than I usually do. I expected more. Parking is $25 in their lot and valet fee is $32…on the days they have it. If you choose this hotel, make sure you request a room NOT next to the train tracks.
