I booked my trip with hotels.com however, once I got to the hotel, I was told that they didn’t have the type of room that I reserved and paid an additional $40 for. Also, once arriving at the hotel, I was advised that both rooms that I reserve had an additional $100 deposit that was not advertise when booking. Once advising the receptionist of the inconvenience, she discounted it to $50 each. Before traveling to my destination, I called them to ensure that my room would still be reserved for me because I will be checking in hours later. I wish that I would’ve been advised that they didn’t have the specific room that I booked for upon calling before getting there because I might have switched the hotel. Also, the hotel was renovating many of the rooms so that made their inventory smaller. Overall, the room that I did stay in was nice, but this was a birthday trip for myself, so I was a little disappointed with the inconveniences.
